Journal ArticleDOI

PEP4 gene of Saccharomyces cerevisiae encodes proteinase A, a vacuolar enzyme required for processing of vacuolar precursors.

TL;DR: The proteinase A structural gene of Saccharomyces cerevisiae was cloned by using an immunological screening procedure that allows detection of yeast cells which are aberrantly secreting vacuolar proteins, and genetic linkage data demonstrate that integrated copies of the cloned proteinase B structural gene map to the PEP4 locus.
Journal ArticleDOI

Late Pleistocene loess-palaeosol sequences in the Vojvodina region, north Serbia

TL;DR: In this article, geochronology of the last glacial loess-palaeosol sequences, based on lumines-cence dating and amino acid racemisation, provides correlations between Upper Pleistocene Loess-Palaeoosol sediments in Vojvodina and comparable deposits at other European localities.
