Familial vs. sporadic sarcoidosis: BTNL2 polymorphisms, clinical presentations, and outcomes in a French cohort.
Yves Pacheco,Alain Calender,Dominique Israel-Biet,Pascal Roy,Serge Lebecque,Vincent Cottin,Diane Bouvry,Hilario Nunes,Pascal Sève,Laurent Perard,Gilles Devouassoux,Nathalie Freymond,Chahira Khouatra,Benoit Wallaert,Raphaelle Lamy,Mad-Hélénie Elsensohn,Claire Bardel,Dominique Valeyre +17 more
TL;DR: There was no such difference between familial and sporadic sarcoidosis cases and no correlation between BTNL2 polymorphism and disease severity or outcome, so BTNL1 difference cannot be considered as a key marker for disease classification or patient management.
Journal ArticleDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
Drug-induced interstitial lung disease
TL;DR: For certain drugs, such as checkpoint inhibitors, the frequency of lung toxicity is such that mitigation strategies are put in place to prevent this complication and occurrence of DI-ILD is not necessarily synonymous with permanent drug discontinuation, particularly in the absence of valid therapeutic alternatives.
