Study of mass composition and energy spectrum of primary cosmic radiation by the imaging atmospheric Cherenkov technique

TL;DR: In this paper, atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes (IACTs) have been used for the separation of different components of cosmic rays in the energy region 1 −, and it is shown that simultaneous detection of air showers by two IACTs located at a distance of about 100 m from each other allows an effective separation of the proton, -particle, medium (O), heavy (Si), and very heavy (Fe) groups of cosmic-ray nuclei.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evidence of 100 TeV γ-ray emission from HESS J1702-420: A new PeVatron candidate

Hassan Abdalla, +237 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented new observations of HESS J1702-420 made with the High Energy Stereoscopic System (H.E.S.), and processed using improved analysis techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigation of the decays $\bar B^0$$\to D^{*+}$$\ell^- \bar v$ and $\bar B \to D^{**}$$\ell^-\bar v$

TL;DR: In this paper, the ARGUS detector at the DORIS II storage ring has been used to study the decay rate of exclusive semileptonic B with a D * + meson in the final state.
