TL;DR: In this article, non-irradiated and irradiated ATLAS silicon microstrip barrel and endcap modules have been beam tested with 4-GeV/c pions and found the peak time of the amplifier to be 22 ns with slight deterioration in the irradiated modules.

TL;DR: In this paper, a semi-automatic pick-and-place work robot was designed and developed to cope with the module placement for the ATLAS SCT barrel assembly, which could place modules to a mechanical precision of better than 25μm.
