Journal ArticleDOI

Changing the behavior of chromophores from aggregation-caused quenching to aggregation-induced emission: development of highly efficient light emitters in the solid state.

TL;DR: A win‐win strategy would be the elimination of the ACQ effect without sacrificing other functional properties of the luminophores, in the work reported here, which has developed a new approach.
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystallization-Induced Phosphorescence of Pure Organic Luminogens at Room Temperature

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported efficient phosphorescence from the crystals of benzophenone and its derivatives with a general formula of (X-C6H4)2C═O (X = F, Cl, Br) as well as methyl 4-bromobenzoate and 4,4′-dibromobiphenyl under ambient conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bulk crystal growth of hybrid perovskite material CH3NH3PbI3

TL;DR: In this article, a single crystal of tetragonal CH3NH3PbI3 with dimensions of 10 mm × 10mm × 8 mm was grown by a temperature-lowering method in HI solution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Full-Range Intracellular pH Sensing by an Aggregation-Induced Emission-Active Two-Channel Ratiometric Fluorogen

TL;DR: A pH-sensitive fluorogen is reported, a tetraphenylethene-cyanine adduct that responds sensitively to pHi in the entire physiological range, visualizing the acidic and basic compartments with intense red and blue emissions, respectively.
