Atomic reconstruction in twisted bilayers of transition metal dichalcogenides
Astrid Weston,Yichao Zou,V. V. Enaldiev,V. V. Enaldiev,Alex Summerfield,Nick Clark,Viktor Zólyomi,Abigail J. Graham,Celal Yelgel,Samuel Magorrian,Mingwei Zhou,Johanna Zultak,David G. Hopkinson,Alexei Barinov,Thomas H. Bointon,Andrey V. Kretinin,Neil R. Wilson,Peter H. Beton,Vladimir I. Fal'ko,Sarah J. Haigh,Roman V. Gorbachev +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the lattice reconstruction in twisted bilayers of the transition metal dichalcogenides, MoS2 and WS2, was revealed using atomic-resolution transmission electron microscopy.

TL;DR: Atomic-resolution transmission electron microscopy is used to reveal the lattice reconstruction in twisted bilayers of the transition metal dichalcogenides, MoS 2 and WS 2, showing that such reconstruction creates strong piezoelectric textures, opening a new avenue for engineering of 2D material properties.
Journal ArticleDOI
Controlling Reaction Selectivity over Hybrid Plasmonic Nanocatalysts
Jhon Quiroz,Eduardo C. M. Barbosa,Thaylan Pinheiro Araújo,Jhonatan Luiz Fiorio,Yi-Chi Wang,Yichao Zou,Tong Mou,Tiago Vinicius Alves,Daniela C. de Oliveira,Bin Wang,Sarah J. Haigh,Liane M. Rossi,Pedro H. C. Camargo +12 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that reaction selectivity of a sequential reaction can be controlled under visible light illumination and this work believes these results will contribute to the use of plasmonic catalysis to drive and control a wealth of selective molecular transformations under ecofriendly conditions andvisible light illumination.
Journal ArticleDOI
Atomically Dispersed Copper Sites in a Metal-Organic Framework for Reduction of Nitrogen Dioxide.
Yujie Ma,Xue Han,Shaojun Xu,Shaojun Xu,Shaojun Xu,Zi Wang,Weiyao Li,Ivan da Silva,Sarayute Chansai,Daniel Lee,Yichao Zou,Marek Nikiel,Pascal Manuel,Alena M. Sheveleva,Floriana Tuna,Eric J. L. McInnes,Yongqiang Cheng,Svemir Rudić,Anibal J. Ramirez-Cuesta,Sarah J. Haigh,Christopher Hardacre,Martin Schröder,Sihai Yang +22 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the role of atomically dispersed copper sites in catalytic reduction of NO2 at ambient temperature was investigated, and the performance of the Cu/UiO-66 catalyst was shown to achieve a selectivity of 88% for the formation of N2 at a 97% conversion of NO 2 with a lifetime of >50 h and an unprecedented turnover frequency of 6.1 h-1 is achieved under nonthermal plasma activation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Stacking Order in Graphite Films Controlled by van der Waals Technology.
Yaping Yang,Yichao Zou,Colin R. Woods,Yanmeng Shi,Jun Yin,Shuigang Xu,Servet Ozdemir,Takashi Taniguchi,Kenji Watanabe,Andre K. Geim,Kostya S. Novoselov,Sarah J. Haigh,Artem Mishchenko +12 more
TL;DR: It is found that hBN-encapsulation which is introduced parallel to the graphite zigzag edges preserves ABC stacking, while encapsulation along the armchair edges transforms the stacking to ABA.
