Journal ArticleDOI

Environmental influences on clonal hematopoiesis.

TL;DR: Improved understanding of the effects of environmental stress on emergence of CH with mutation-specific clarity will guide future efforts to provide preventive medicine to individuals with CH.
Journal ArticleDOI

Calcium store refilling and STIM activation in STIM- and Orai-deficient cell lines

TL;DR: It is found that unstimulated, SOCE null KO cells still retain 50~70% of ER Ca2+ stores of wildtype (wt) cells, and ER-PM trapping and clustering of STIM molecules only facilitates the process of SOCE activation, but is not essential for the activation of Orai channels.
Journal ArticleDOI

Calmodulin Regulates Ca2+-sensing Receptor-mediated Ca2+ Signaling and Its Cell Surface Expression

TL;DR: The present study has demonstrated a Ca2+-dependent, stoichiometric interaction between CaM and a CaM-binding domain (CaMBD) located within the C terminus of CaSR, and suggests a wrapping around 1–14-like mode of interaction that involves global conformational changes in both lobes of CaM with concomitant formation of a helical structure in the CaMBD.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tet inactivation disrupts YY1 binding and long-range chromatin interactions during embryonic heart development

TL;DR: It is found that cardiac-specific deletion of Tet2 and Tet3 in mice (Tet2/3-DKO) leads to ventricular non-compaction cardiomyopathy (NCC) with embryonic lethality, and DNA methylation and hydroxymethylation dynamics during early cardiac development in both human and mice are analyzed.
