TL;DR: Differences in infarct topography may explain why right ventricular involvement seldom is diagnosed clinically in patients with anterior infarction, and why left ventricular function and prognosis usually are better after posterior compared with anterior Infarcts of enzymatically equal size.

TL;DR: A new rotor speed estimator for the whole speed-loop range, based on the stator flux speed estimation with a new dynamic correction depending on estimated torque, is proposed and tested.
Abstract: This paper proposes a motion-sensorless control system using direct torque control with space vector modulation for interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) drives, for wide speed range operation, including standstill. A novel stator flux observer with variable structure uses a combined voltage-current model with PI compensator for low-speed operations. As speed increases, the observer switches gradually to a PI compensated closed-loop voltage model, which is solely used at high speeds. High-frequency rotating-voltage injection with a single D-module bandpass vector filter and a phase-locked loop state observer with a new synchronization procedure are used to estimate the rotor position, which is needed only by the current model in stator flux observer at low speeds. A new rotor speed estimator for the whole speed-loop range, based on the stator flux speed estimation with a new dynamic correction depending on estimated torque, is proposed and tested. Extensive simulation results and significant experimental results provided good performance for the proposed IPMSM sensorless system in more than 1:1000 speed range, under full-load operation, from very low speeds (1 r/min experimental) up to rated speed.

TL;DR: The proposed design of millimeter-wave (mm-Wave) array antenna package with beam steering characteristic for the fifth-generation (5G) mobile applications has >10-dB gain in the upper spherical space, good directivity, and efficiency, which is suitable for 5G mobile communications.
Abstract: This letter proposes a new design of millimeter-wave (mm-Wave) array antenna package with beam steering characteristic for the fifth-generation (5G) mobile applications. In order to achieve a broad three-dimensional scanning coverage of the space with high-gain beams, three identical subarrays of patch antennas have been compactly arranged along the edge region of the mobile phone printed circuit board (PCB) to form the antenna package. By switching the feeding to one of the subarrays, the desired direction of coverage can be achieved. The proposed design has >10-dB gain in the upper spherical space, good directivity, and efficiency, which is suitable for 5G mobile communications. In addition, the impact of the user's hand on the antenna performance has been investigated.

TL;DR: Based on time trends, more recent birth cohorts have their menarche earlier and grow taller, however, women with earlier menarches reach a shorter adult height compared with women who have menarChe at a later age.
Abstract: In the last two centuries, age at menarche has decreased in several European populations, whereas adult height has increased. It is unclear whether these trends have ceased in recent years or how age at menarche and height are related in individuals. In this study, the authors first investigated trends in age at menarche and adult height among 286,205 women from nine European countries by computing the mean age at menarche and height in 5-year birth cohorts, adjusted for differences in socioeconomic status. Second, the relation between age at menarche and height was estimated by linear regression models, adjusted for age at enrollment between 1992 and 1998 and socioeconomic status. Mean age at menarche decreased by 44 days per 5-year birth cohort (beta = -0.12, standard error = 0.002), varying from 18 days in the United Kingdom to 58 days in Spain and Germany. Women grew 0.29 cm taller per 5-year birth cohort (standard error = 0.007), varying from 0.42 cm in Italy to 0.98 cm in Denmark. Furthermore, women grew approximately 0.31 cm taller when menarche occurred 1 year later (range by country: 0.13-0.50 cm). Based on time trends, more recent birth cohorts have their menarche earlier and grow taller. However, women with earlier menarche reach a shorter adult height compared with women who have menarche at a later age.
