Bibliometric study of volatile compounds in commercial fruits of the Solanaceae family

Abstract: Bibliometric analysis is a discipline that allows us to identify knowledge trends, assesses scientific activity and the impact of research through its volume, evolution, visibility, and structure. The present study aimed to carry out a bibliometric study of scientific research that contributes to the knowledge of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) of edible and commercial fruits of Solanaceae family. The research consisted of extracting the information from papers in the Web of Science database. We analyzed and performed the production, visibility, and impact of these papers, also relationships and collaboration between authors using BibExcel and VOSviewer software. As a result, 178 documents were obtained from 2001 to 2017. Tomato is the fruit with the largest number of related articles that are focused on studying compounds responsible for taste, aroma, and biotic and abiotic relationships, as well as studies for identification of the genes responsible for these organoleptic and ecological traits. Papers analyzed are related to the research studies of 491 authors from 239 different organizations distributed in 45 countries. This bibliometric study allowed to identify trends in the knowledge in VOCs with respect to Solanaceae fruits, as well as recognizing the location of the scientific material in this field.

Propuesta para la implementación del costeo ABC en microempresas

Abstract: Shown in the article the methodology followed in the implementation of the costing system ABC (Activity Based Costing) in the microenterprise sector, procurement and construction of the matrices GAD (expenses, activity, dependence) and the APD array (Activity, product, dependence), the data processing performed in the study showed the values of each of the products produced by a manufacturing company, while we obtained the cost of the activities necessary to carry out the production process.

Sur les rites funéraires de la franc-maçonnerie belge du XIX e siècle

Abstract: Dans le courant du XIXe siecle, la mort constituait un important point de friction entre la franc-maconnerie belge et l’Eglise catholique. Apres la condamnation episcopale de 1837, les francs-macons se voyaient refuses les derniers sacrements et les obseques religieuses. Or, bien rapidement, ils choisiraient eux-memes a mourir sans les secours de l’Eglise et d’organiser des funerailles civiles, une attitude qui se relatait au developpement d’un spiritualisme propre, ulterieurement au choix pour l’agnosticisme ou l’atheisme. Les tenues funebres en loge accompagnaient ce processus. Le rite funebre maconnique se laissait identifier simultanement comme rite curatif et comme rite de passage. Bien que la dimension motorique du rituel se montrait assez stable pendant le siecle etudie, la dimension exegetique du meme rituel apportait des interpretations divergentes de ces actes symboliques inchangees. Dans le conflit autour des lits de mort et des funerailles des francs-macons, le rituel maconnique contribuait au developpement d’une contre-culture funeraire laique, dans laquelle la construction d’une dignite alternative etait essentielle. Ainsi, le monopole catholique sur cet important aspect de la quotidiennete se voyait definitivement rompu, au niveau des actes funeraires publics tout comme au niveau symbolique.

Búsqueda activa de sintomáticos respiratorios para tuberculosis en poblaciones de alto riesgo

Abstract: Se realizo una busqueda activa de sintomaticos respiratorios para el diagnostico de tuberculosis por baciloscopia en poblacion de indigentes, centros penitenciarios y centros de reclusion de adultos mayores. Se evidenciaron factores de riesgo para la tuberculosis como el hacinamiento y el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas en indigentes y en la carcel de varones. El porcentaje de captacion de sintomaticos fue de 18,1% y la concentracion de baciloscopias por sintomatico de 1,7. Se diagnosticaron 8 casos de tuberculosis pulmonar, 7 de ellos en la poblacion de indigentes,con un porcentaje de positividad de 4,2%. Todos los pacientes diagnosticados iniciaron su tratamiento. Los resultados permiten recomendar la busqueda activa de casos como una estrategia viable en poblaciones de alto riesgo y una evaluacion constante del costo-eficacia en barrios de bajos ingresos.

Amiloidosis gastrointestinal (AG): Presentación de caso

Abstract: The amyloidosis is a disease of unknown etiology, it is characterized for the deposit of amorphous substance (amyloide), in diverse organs and tissues extracell spaces determining functional an structural alterations according to the location and structural alterations according to the location and intensity of the deposit. About 75 % of the patients who suffer this disease have a primary amyloidosis, 5% of whole present suffer amyloidosis secondary, and less than the 5% develops a familiar amyloidosis. The clinical manifestations are not specifics, determinated for the organ or affected system. The diagnostic is based on the clinical suspicion and the proof of the amyloide substance on the tissues. It is really difficult to know the evolution of this disease because it is complicated to find the beginning of the same one. About the medical treatment they have observed favorable response with melfalan and prednisone. With regard to the organs transplant there is not protocol about universal acceptance it depends on every case, extension and evolutionary estate of the disease. Now will present an amyloidosis primary systemic case, where one finds an affected gastrointestinal system.
