El “nuevo” acuerdo final para la paz a través del lente del derecho penal

Abstract: The final agreement signed between the FARC rebels and the Colombian government deals with important issues like victims, illegal drug trafficking, restitution of land, and others. In this way that this text pretends to give an analysis of the agreement from the perspective of criminal law, primarily from the special jurisdiction for peace – being this a topic used by the opposition in the campaigns for the plebiscite – and for this the differences between ordinary criminal justice and transitional justice are considered, with the requirements and obligations that bring access, in this case, the second one. Intending to explain how this jurisdiction does not mean impunity as many think, and without leaving aside the relationship that this jurisdiction has with the repair of the victims

Nivel de conocimientos, tipo de actitud y prácticas de los estudiantes de medicina sobre el vih/sida (Barranquilla, Colombia): estudio descriptivo.

Abstract: Objective: To describe the level of knowledge, attitude and practices such students of a medical program on HIV / AIDS in the city of Barranquilla. Materials and Methods: Cross-sectional study. A total of 185 medical students from 1 th to 12 th semester were surveyed. There were applied a KAP (Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices) Questionnaire on HIV/AIDS, designed for IPPF (International Planned Parenthood Federation), 26 questions related to the level of knowledge, 25 Related to attitudes and 5 with practices against HIV, in addition to sociodemographic variables (age, sex, semester). It was made univariate analysis (mean, standard deviation, relative frequency and absolute frequency) and bivariate analysis (relative frequency, absolute frequency and square test). Results: Average age of participants: 20.3 years (SD +/- 2.36); No significant differences (p>0,05) by gender, with respect to knowledge, attitudes and practices were found but some differences were obtained per semester (p<0.05), related to treatment, prevention and posture face care patients. Conclusion: Acceptable level of knowledge, but they should be strengthened related to health promotion and to guide better attitudes and practices against patients and disease aspects.

CORRELACIÓN DIAGNÓSTICA DE LA CITOLOGÍA CERVICAL Versus COLPOSCOPIA EN LESIONES PREMALIGNAS DE CÁNCER CERVICOUTERINO. IPS UNIVERSITARIA BARRANQUILLA 2013

Abstract: Objetivo: Determinar la correlacion diagnostica de la citologia cervical versus colposcopia en lesiones premalignas decancer cervicouterino. IPS Universitaria, Barranquilla 2013.Materiales y Metodos: Estudio analitico ambispectivo de validacion de prueba diagnostica. Se incluyeron un total de50 pacientes en en los que se logro el reporte de citologia cervical, colposcopia y reporte histopatologico, ademas decumplir con los criterios de inclusion, edad mayor de 18 anos y datos completos de variables que se deben analizaren la historia clinica.Resultados: La edad media fue de 44,4 ± 9,0 anos; la edad media de inicio de vida sexual fue de 17,6 ± 1,0 anos; el 8%presentaban antecedentes familiares de cancer cervicouterino; en la citologia se observo una sensibilidad del 80% yespecificidad del 56.6%; la colposcopia mostro sensibilidad del 72,7% y especificidad del 71,4%.Conclusiones: La colposcopia mostro mayor correlacion diagnostica que la citologia cervical en lesiones premalignasde cancer cervicouterino.
