TL;DR: In this paper, a step-by-step method on how to read the Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) data was presented, including reviewing simple to the complex organic materials.
Abstract: Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) has been developed as a tool for the simultaneous and quantitative determination of organic components, including chemical bond, as well as organic content (e.g. protein, carbohydrate and lipid). However, until now, there is no further information for the detailed information in the FTIR peaks. The objective of this study was to demonstrate how to read and assess chemical bond and structure in the organic material. The analysis was then compared with the literatures. The step-by-step method on how to read the FTIR data was presented, including reviewing simple to the complex organic materials. This study is potential to be used as a standard information on how to read FTIR peaks in the biochemical and organic materials.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors explored the perceptions of primary school teachers of online learning in a program developed in Indonesia called School from Home during the COVID-19 Pandemic and found four main themes, namely, instructional strategies, challenges, support, and motivation of teachers.
Abstract: This study explores the perceptions of primary school teachers of online learning in a program developed in Indonesia called School from Home during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Data were collected through surveys and semi-structured interviews with 67 class teachers in primary schools. Data analysis used thematic analysis of qualitative data. The analysis results found four main themes, namely, instructional strategies, challenges, support, and motivation of teachers. This research contributes to the literature of online collaborative learning between teachers, parents, and schools that impact student success. Broadly, the success of online learning in Indonesia during the COVID-19 Pandemic was determined by the readiness of technology in line with the national humanist curriculum, support and collaboration from all stakeholders, including government, schools, teachers, parents and the community.

TL;DR: In this paper, an extensive analysis of interpersonal distances over a large data set (N = 8,943 participants from 42 countries) was presented, which attempted to relate the preferred social, personal, and intimate distances observed in each country to a set of individual characteristics of the participants, and some attributes of their cultures.
Abstract: Human spatial behavior has been the focus of hundreds of previous research studies. However, the conclusions and generalizability of previous studies on interpersonal distance preferences were limited by some important methodological and sampling issues. The objective of the present study was to compare preferred interpersonal distances across the world and to overcome the problems observed in previous studies. We present an extensive analysis of interpersonal distances over a large data set (N = 8,943 participants from 42 countries). We attempted to relate the preferred social, personal, and intimate distances observed in each country to a set of individual characteristics of the participants, and some attributes of their cultures. Our study indicates that individual characteristics (age and gender) influence interpersonal space preferences and that some variation in results can be explained by temperature in a given region. We also present objective values of preferred interpersonal distances in different regions, which might be used as a reference data point in future studies.

TL;DR: Kunci et al. as mentioned in this paper used regression analysis to determine the effect of learning interest on student learning outcomes, which can be concluded that student learning outcome can be improved through increased student learning interest.
Kata Kunci: minat belajar, hasil belajar siswa LEARNING INTEREST AS DETERMINANT STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The problem in this research is not optimal student learning outcomes. It is characterized by the acquisition of learning outcomes of students who have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) in school. This study aims to determine the effect of learning interest on student learning outcomes. The method used in this research was survey method with data collection using a questionnaire rating scale models. Samples were 58 students of class X of Office Administration Vocational High School (SMK) in Bandung. The approach used is a quantitative approach to data analysis techniques using regression analysis. The indicator used to measure learning interest is an interest in learning, attention to learning, motivation to learn and knowledge. Based on regression analysis, the result that learning interest has a significant impact on learning outcomes. It can be concluded that student learning outcomes can be improved through increased student learning interest. Means the better the interest of student learning will have an impact on student learning outcomes for the better. Keywords : learning interest, student learning o utcome
