TL;DR: From the review, it was found that there are many benefits and challenges of autonomous agile teams and the various strategies to overcome the challenges.
Abstract: Organizations are needed of flexible structures to achieve their aims. In the software arena, Self-organization is the one of the principles of the agile methodologies as defined in the agile manifesto. Autonomous agile teams are a way to conform self-organization. The main objective of this paper is to know about the how autonomous agile teams organize themselves and what are the benefits and the challenges faced by these teams. A systematic literature review was conducted to find answers to these questions. 23 relevant papers were identified as primary sources to define and study autonomous and self-organized agile team. From the review, it was found that there are many benefits and challenges of autonomous agile teams and the various strategies to overcome the challenges.

TL;DR: In this paper, the experiences of child welfare workers in relation to families where mothers have intellectual disabilities are explored based on data from focus group interviews with child welfare worker in municipal child welfare services.
Abstract: This article explores the experiences of child welfare workers in relation to families where mothers have intellectual disabilities. The study is based on data from focus group interviews with child welfare workers in municipal child welfare services. All of the child welfare workers say that mothers with intellectual disabilities have serious and widespread problems linked to parental functioning. The child welfare workers interviewed in this study conclude that these mothers often have inadequate or no education, poor economy, unstable employment, and unsatisfactory housing conditions. Although these problems are common among the parents child welfare comes into contact with in general, the mothers in question represent a special challenge because of their intellectual disabilities. The informants in this study say that they as child welfare workers need to question if ‘normal’ requirements from child welfare can be used with regard to mothers with intellectual disabilities in order to evaluate...

TL;DR: In this article, four validation studies of different versions of the Approaches to Studying Inventory (ASI) were performed by means of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, and a restructured version of the 18-item ASI emerged as reasonably valid and robust, and can be recommended as a research instrument and a practical evaluation tool in higher education.
Abstract: Four validation studies of different versions of the Approaches to Studying Inventory (ASI) were performed by means of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. Six samples of undergraduate students participated (N = 4,038), drawn from different bachelor programs in selected university college departments. The results gave limited support to the 18‐item ASI originally promoted by Gibbs et al. in 1988, whereas a modified version of the 32‐item edition showed acceptable psychometric properties, as did two shortened versions of the Approaches and Study Skill Inventory for Students (ASSIST). A restructured “quick‐and‐easy” 18‐item ASI emerged as reasonably valid and robust, and can be recommended as a research instrument and a practical evaluation tool in higher education. Considerations related to shortening the ASI are also discussed.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used triaxial magnetometer measurements and an analysis method employing a magnetometer-based analysis method to measure the Earth's magnetic field, which can cause local variations in the magnetic field that can be measured with a magnetometers.
Abstract: Magnetic objects can cause local variations in the Earth's magnetic field that can be measured with a magnetometer. Here we used triaxial magnetometer measurements and an analysis method employing ...

TL;DR: The usability issues involved in ticketless travelling with an airport train are examined and it is shown how users’ intentions are difficult to anticipate, unless in explicit communication, e.g., with people whose job it is to help out with using the system.
Abstract: This paper examines the usability issues involved in ticketless travelling with an airport train. The main contribution of this paper is that it describes actual use situations in detail. We show how users' intentions are difficult to anticipate, unless in explicit communication, e.g., with people whose job it is to help out with using the system. Being conspicuously assisted, however, only aggravates a situation where users usually prefer anonymity. Given a "private in public" type of design, users had little chance of learning from watching others. Moreover, users were quickly annoyed when they struggled with the machine. They seemed to treat it as an agent for the provider rather than an assistant or tool for themselves. At the end of this paper, we outline and illustrate some new design ideas, which we think ought to be considered for future designs of IT in public spaces.
