TL;DR: Boger et al. as mentioned in this paper presented the results of a follow-up study conducted at Ostfold University College in 2015 which set out to examine information resource use among students of nursing and teacher education and found differences in search behaviour between first-year and third-year students, a decrease in the use of Google, and a difference between the students from the nursing faculty and the teacher education faculty.
Abstract: This article presents the results of a follow-up study conducted at Ostfold University College in 2015 which set out to examine information resource use among students of nursing and teacher education. The first study was presented in an article published in the Journal of Information Literacy Vol. 9 No. 1 (Boger et al. 2015). The two qualitative studies were carried out by interviewing the students about their skills in information retrieval, and observing them. The results show differences in search behaviour between first-year and third-year students, a decrease in the use of Google, and a difference between the students from the nursing faculty and the teacher education faculty.

TL;DR: An innovative Nurse Assisted eHealth Service from hospital to home for people with noncommunicable diseases of heart failure and colorectal cancer is presented and the eHealth service potential to optimize patient experience, decrease burden of treatment and increase health-related quality of life is discussed.
Abstract: Non-communicable diseases are prone to comorbidity and complex health care needs, with the risk of experiencing burden of treatment. Current health care practice on post-discharge follow-up of patients with noncommunicable disease is improper and the knowledge about how to mend it is insufficient. The aim of this paper is to present and discuss an innovative Nurse Assisted eHealth Service from hospital to home for people with noncommunicable diseases of heart failure and colorectal cancer. We present a model of a remote eHealth service, and by drawing on earlier research and Burden of Treatment theory, we discuss the eHealth service potential to optimize patient experience, decrease burden of treatment and increase health-related quality of life.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate how much English Swedish-speaking children are able to extract from media prior to the instruction of English that takes place in school using picture-pointing tasks.
Abstract: This study investigates how much English Swedish-speaking children are able to extract from media prior to the instruction of English that takes place in school. The participants are 41 Swedish-speaking, 7 to 8-year-old children in grades 1 and 2. Their receptive knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary is tested using two picture-pointing tasks. For grammar, the ELIAS Grammar test is used (Kersten et al. 2010). Three morphological structures (plural -s, possessive -s and 3rd person singular -s) are targeted and analysed through the lens of Processability Theory (PT; Pienemann 1998, 2015). For vocabulary, the BVPS is used (Dunn et al. 1997). The results on grammar confirm the processability hierarchy predicted in PT, with a few exceptions. The remarks from the children reveal that they are able to discuss the linguistic forms and also give declarative rules. No signs of transfer from the L1 are found in the comprehension of morphology. However, the results on vocabulary indicate that the children use transfer. They rely on cognates and also on L1 phonology when trying to guess the meaning of the L2 words. (Less)

TL;DR: In this article, the authors use business as an example of a social sphere to show that mediatisation arises and how social spheres are marked by it, and they use this example to examine the role of business in Mediatisation.
Abstract: The recent discussion on mediatisation prompts questions about how it arises and how social spheres are marked by it. In this article, we use business as an example of a social sphere to show that ...
