TL;DR: A framework for the development of distributed systems combining real and virtual components, sensors and actuators, which provides a flexible communication for distributed systems and allows appropriate adjustments for design, rapid prototyping and examination as soon as an opportunity to reduce the hardware effort for large scenarios.
Abstract: We describe a framework for the development of distributed systems combining real and virtual components, sensors and actuators. We show the benefits of our approach for the development and validation of multi robot applications. Based on our middleware, which provides a flexible communication for distributed systems, virtual and real components are seamlessly exchangeable during different development steps. This modularity and compatibility allows appropriate adjustments for design, rapid prototyping and examination as soon as an opportunity to reduce the hardware effort for large scenarios.

TL;DR: In this article, the impact of the cage rotation frequency on the referred deviation of measured values from the theoretical ones was analyzed. But the results were limited to the case of a faulty rolling bearing.
Abstract: The present paper aims to demonstrate why usually when theoretical mathematical models are used to compute the frequencies corresponding to a faulty rolling bearing a deviation is obtained between the computed values and the real frequencies emitted by such a device. A laboratory rolling bearing test ring has been developed to perform the current studies. From the obtained results we highlight the impact of the cage rotation frequency on the referred deviation of measured values from the theoretical ones.

TL;DR: In this article, an inefficiency mechanism through which non perfect firmsi¯ expectations about future demand conduct to underinvestment is introduced, which originates periodic and a-periodic long run cycles; this mechanism is applied over the simplest neoclassical growth model, the Solow equation regarding capital accumulation.
Abstract: Neoclassical growth models are essentially characterized by the formation of a steady state where the main economic aggregates (capital, output, consumption and investment) do not grow, unless some external event takes place (e.g., technological progress or population growth). Hence, the long term result corresponds to a fixed point and any kind of endogenous fluctuations is ruled out. This paper introduces an inefficiency mechanism through which non perfect firmsi¯ expectations about future demand conduct to underinvestment, which originates periodic and a-periodic long run cycles; this mechanism is applied over the simplest neoclassical growth model, the Solow equation regarding capital accumulation. Results, containing a large variety of dynamic features, are discussed through the analysis of local bifurcations and through numerical examples that give insights about global dynamics.

TL;DR: Aspergillus fumigatus complex was the second most frequently found in the air from the waste-sorting plant (16.0%) and from the incineration plant (18.0%).
Abstract: Aspergillus fumigatus is one of the major ubiquitous saprophytic fungi and it is considered one of the fungal species with higher clinical relevance. This study aimed at characterising the prevalence of A. fumigatus complex in one waste-sorting plant and also in one incineration plant. Conventional and molecular methodologies were applied in order to detect its presence. Aspergillus fumigatus complex was the second most frequently found in the air from the waste-sorting plant (16.0%) and from the incineration plant (18.0%). Regarding surfaces, it ranked the third species most frequently found in the waste-sorting plant (13.8%) and the second in the incineration plant (22.3%). In the waste-sorting plant, it was possible to amplify by qPCR DNA from the A. fumigatus complex in all culture-positive sampling sites plus one other sampling site that was negative by culture analysis. Considering the observed fungal load, it is recommended to apply preventive and protective measures in order to avoid or minimise worker's exposure.
