Abstract: Introduction: Overweight and obesity are metabolic disorders that have become a public health problem due to the current high prevalence; therefore, it is important to create simple monitoring systems to assess their trends. Objective: To determine the correlation between wei- ght, height and body mass index reported by patients and the values measured directly in adults between 25 and 50 years old without higher education. Patients and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted with participation of 207 adults be- tween 25 and 50 years old. Each participant was asked weight and height; and body mass index was calculated with these data. Moreover, a qualified person determi- ned the real value of these variables. The coefficient of intra-class correlation between self-reported and measu- rements was obtained. Results: The body mass index measured for men was 25,8±3,7 kg/m 2 and for women 26,0±4,1 kg/m

Abstract: Colombia has been facing a process of transition in the Health Occupational Program, in the system of security management and health at work (SG-SST), together with new legislation on this subject. The aim of this research is to measure the degree of knowledge that legally formed enterprises in Norte de Santander have got. In relation to this issue of work security, with the aim of having a clear path that may determine the possible strategies that facilitate this transition; this new SGSST make employers to do a permanent check on the working conditions that affect welfare, security and health on workers, thus allowing actions for improvement. Not complying with these tasks would bring economic sanctions even to the point of causing the final closing of the enterprises.

Abstract: Introduction: This work shows an individual study of the capture, recording, and analysis of the level of stress of a university student during a class that involves an evaluation. The stress information was estimated using a commercial and low-cost computer-brain interface. This allows solving the problem of easily obtaining quantitative and not only qualitative measures.Objective: The aim of this article is to analyze the behavior of neural signals to estimate the level of stress in a student to some verbal and nonverbal events generated by a teacher.Methodology: An experimental design of individual character was developed taking as disturbances the level of stress, events such as questions, time limits, and gestures.Results: Some events that caused stress in students produced by the verbal and non-verbal language of the teacher when teaching the class were evidenced.Conclusions: Teachers are encouraged to moderate their body language during assessments by avoiding actions that emulate anxieties or pressures in unnecessary times.

Abstract: Actualmente la energia eolica ha tenido gran auge dentro de las energias renovables; las turbinas que se emplean y sus alabes han sido modificadas para aumentar la eficiencia a la hora de extraer energia del viento. En este documento, se realiza el diseno de un alabe para un aerogenerador de baja potencia y baja velocidad, implementando distintos perfiles aerodinamicos. Estos perfiles fueron escogidos segun su rendimiento aerodinamico el cual fue determinado por medio del software XFOIL. Basado en la teoria de momentum de elemento de alabe BEM por sus siglas en ingles, se realiza un rediseno continuo hasta que fuese capaz de extraer la maxima cantidad de energia a partir de la maximizacion de la relacion sustentacion/arrastre. Prestando atencion a los problemas de desprendimiento de la capa limite y retardando la separacion, que se presentan en los aerogeneradores expuestos a bajas velocidades de viento. Los perfiles aerodinamicos que fueron seleccionados para el diseno son: WORTMANN FX60-126 empleado en la raiz, el perfil SG6043 para la seccion media por su gran comportamiento en el rango de numero de Reynolds de diseno. Y finalmente el perfil SG6042 para la punta donde se encuentran los menores numeros de Reynolds. El diseno tuvo en cuenta valores de Reynolds entre 59000 y 32000. Obteniendo analiticamente 96,82W con un diametro de 1,5m. Palabras clave: energia eolica, alabe, perfil aerodinamico.

Abstract: espanolEl siguiente esbozo teorico tiene como proposito fundamental, hablar del plan de vida organizacional como catalizador en la reinvencion del desarrollo competitivo de empresas manufactureras y se efectuo fundamentandose en las categorias plan de vida organizacional y reinvencion del desarrollo competitivo. A su vez, el proceso investigativo se enfoco en el paradigma post positivista, desarrollandose en la metodologia cualitativa y basada en la teoria fundamentada, realizando procesos de codificacion y analisis de la informacion, con la intencion de ir creando teoria de forma sistematica. Entre los resultados del trabajo investigativo, se identificaron los elementos de direccionamiento estrategico y describieron los pasos delplan de vida organizacional en las empresas del sector arcilla, detectando tanto elementos positivos como falencias en ambos casos y que trajeron como consecuencia, la propuesta de lineamientos que sugieren intensificar elementos importantes a considerar en la reinvencion del desarrollo competitivo de estas organizaciones con base a un plan de vida organizacional bien estructurado considerando el buen desarrollo profesional y personal de cada integrante de las organizaciones del sector. EnglishThe following theoretical outline has as its fundamental purpose, to speak of the organizational life plan as a catalyst in the reinvention of the competitive development of manufacturing enterprises and was carried out on the basis of the categories of organizational life plan and reinvention of competitive development. At the same time, the research process focused on the post-positivist paradigm, developing in qualitative methodology and based on grounded theory, carrying out processes of codification and analysis of information, with the intention of creating theory in a systematic way. Among the results of the investigative work, the elements of strategic direction were identified and described the steps of the organizational life plan in the companies of the clay sector, detecting as much positive elements as failures in both cases and that brought as consequence, the proposal of guidelines that suggest to intensify important elements to consider in the reinvention of the competitive development of these organizations based on a well structured organizational life plan considering the good professional and personal development of each member of the organizations of the sector.
