TL;DR: A retrospective analysis of home health patients discharged from an inpatient setting with a primary or secondary diagnosis of CHF receiving daily telehealth over the course of 1 year found no statistically significant difference between the 3 groups for all-cause rehospitalization rates.
Abstract: PURPOSE:Congestive heart failure (CHF) is the most common reason for rehospitalization among the aging population, accounting for one-fifth of all hospital admissions. To date, there is no research comparing the rehospitalization rates between patients with CHF (PWCHF) who receive telehealth and hom

TL;DR: In this paper, the Lagrange parameter in Adomain decomposition method is used to suggest new method for solving nonlinear differential equation, which will be highly order convergent.
Abstract: This paper will use Lagrange parameter in Adomain decomposition method to suggest new method for solving nonlinear differential equation. This method will be highly order convergent. Also, this method will be compared with old existence method. At last, some numerical examples will be given to illustrate the efficiency of newly developed method.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe the applications and benefits of a recently developed smart building material namely Engineered Cementitious Composite (ECC), also known as flexible or bendable concrete.
Abstract: This article describes the applications and benefits of a recently developed smart building material namely Engineered cementitious composite (ECC), also known as flexible or bendable concrete. Conventional concretes have a strain capacity of only 0.1 percent and are highly brittle and rigid. This lack of bendability is a major cause of failure under strain and has been a pushing factor in the development of an elegant material which is capable to exhibit an enhanced flexibility. An ECC has a strain capacity of more than 3 percent and thus acts more like a ductile metal rather than like a brittle glass. The aim of this paper is to highlight a probable success of ECC in terms of industrial and commercial use in Pakistan. With the introduction of flexible concrete in building technology, it is likely to have safer and more durable construction. The material is expected to display reduced detrimental impacts on the natural environment. A bendable concrete is composed of all the ingredients of a traditional concrete minus coarse aggregates or crushed stones and is reinforced with micromechanically designed polymer fibers. The mechanism of action of the micro-polymeric fibers in concrete has also been emphasized. The principles of mix designs of the mortar incorporating fibers to make an ECC have also been explained. It has also been mentioned in detail as how this technology can be used to enhance the flexibility of some modern concrete types like flowing concrete, self-compacting concrete, and lightweight concrete. ECC is a green construction material. The possible benefits like environment friendliness, cost effectiveness, and durability have been also been elucidated in the paper.

TL;DR: In this article, the chemical phase analysis carried out by X-ray powder diffraction method confirms the major phase of Cu-Zn ferrite structure and porosity has been investigated to study the effect of composition.
Abstract: Mixed Cu-Zn ferrites (for x = 066 to 099) are prepared by the double sintering ceramic method Locally available low cost Fe2O3 with 05wt% of Si additive is used for this purpose which reduced the process price markedly and improves the properties of the ferrite produced The chemical phase analysis carried out by X-ray powder diffraction method confirms the major phase of Cu-Zn ferrite structure Lattice parameters, X-ray density and mass density along with porosity have been investigated to study the effect of composition Lattice parameters shows a decreasing trend with increasing Cu content, x whereas, both X-ray density and mass density increases with increasing x, which in turn decreases the porosity due to successive presence of Si in Fe2O3 This decrease in porosity along with chemical homogeneities, distribution of phases and grain formation were also observed from Scanning electron micrographs at different magnifications

03 May 2020TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the relationship between monetary policy, domestic prices, financial development and economic growth in a context of Pakistan by using a consistent time series data from 1980 to 2016.
Abstract: The objective of the study is to examine the relationship between monetary policy, domestic prices, financial development and economic growth in a context of Pakistan by using a consistent time series data from 1980 to 2016. The results show that real interest rate increases exchange rate that negatively influenced on country’s economic growth, which confirmed that contractionary monetary policy is ineffective to stabilize country’s economic growth. The trade linearization policies hurt Pakistan’s economic growth, which invalidate the positive effect of globalization in developing countries. The inbound FDI has a positive impact on economic growth, whereas exchange rate and changes in price level both have a negative impact on inbound FDI in a country. The domestic saving rate substantially increases inbound FDI in a country. The positive impact of money supply on inflation confirmed the monetarist view of inflation, i.e., money supply leads to inflation. Thus, the overall conclusion confirmed the sound viability of expansionary monetary policy in a given country for sustained growth.
