TL;DR: In this paper, a deformed pn-QRPA model is applied to calculate weak decay rates under stellar conditions for studying presupernova evolution of massive stars. But the model does not employ the Brink-Axel hypothesis as used in previous calculations of weak decay rate.
Abstract: Calculating weak decay rates under stellar conditions for studying presupernova evolution of massive stars is a challenging task. Here, we show the importance of odd-A nuclei for presupernova simulations. In order to calculate the required nuclear matrix elements, we apply the pn-QRPA model in a deformed basis. Nuclear deformation, thought to play an integral role in calculation of associated weak decay rates, is taken into account in our model. We calculate Gamow–Teller (GT) strength distributions, $$\beta ^-$$
emission and positron capture rates for selected odd-A nuclei. Our model does not employ the Brink–Axel hypothesis as used in previous calculations of weak decay rates, and we perform a state-by-state microscopic calculation of GT strength distributions from all parent excited states. Our calculated $$\beta ^-$$
decay rates are in good agreement with large-scale shell model calculations.

TL;DR: In this paper, small molecules possessing tetrahydropyrimidine derivatives have been synthesized having halogenated benzyl derivatives and carboxylate linkage and molecular structure reactivity and virtual screening were performed to check their biological efficacy as an anti-oxidant, anti-cancer and anti-diabetic agent.
Abstract: Objective: In this study, small molecules possessing tetrahydropyrimidine derivatives have been synthesized having halogenated benzyl derivatives and carboxylate linkage. As previously reported, FDA approved halogenated pyrimidine derivatives prompted us to synthesize novel compounds in order to evaluate their biological potential. Methodology: Eight pyrimidine derivatives have been synthesized from ethyl acetoacetate, secondary amine, aromatic benzaldehyde by adding catalytic amount of CuCl2·2H2O via solvent less Grindstone multicomponent reagent method. Molecular structure reactivity and virtual screening were performed to check their biological efficacy as an anti-oxidant, anti-cancer and anti-diabetic agent. These studies were supported by in vitro analysis and QSAR studies. Results: After combined experimental and virtual screening 5c, 5g and 5e could serve as lead compounds, having low IC50 and high binding affinity.

01 Jan 2012TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that R is a right k-weakly regular semiring if and only if each fuzzy right kideal of R is semiprime.
Abstract: This chapter consists of eight sections. In section 1 we prove that the k-sum and k-product of fuzzy k-ideals of a semiring is a fuzzy k-ideal. section 2 is devoted to characterizing k-regular semirings in terms of fuzzy left (right) k-ideals. Section 3 contains various characterizations of right k-weakly regular semirings by fuzzy right k-ideals. In section 4, we define fuzzy prime and semiprime right k-ideals and it is shown that R is a right k-weakly regular semiring if and only if each fuzzy right kideal of R is semiprime. In section 5, we characterize semirings in which each fuzzy k-ideal is idempotent and section 6 presents some results on prime and semiprime fuzzy k-ideals. We then study ”k-semirings” and present some results related to these semirings. Finally, Section 8 is devoted to a study of fuzzy congruences of semirings.

01 Jun 2018TL;DR: Conclusively uniform Probability Density Function (PDF) of CFO outperforms truncated Gaussian PDF of C FO in all the three cases.
Abstract: Multi carrier is the utmost technology before preceding towards 5G. Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) is a basic spreading technique. Multi Tone CDMA (MT-CDMA), Multi Carrier CDMA (MC-CDMA), and Multi Carrier Direct Sequence CDMA (MC-DS-CDMA) are three types of Multi Carrier Spread Spectrum (MCSS). Carrier frequency offset (CFO) is one of the factors, which give birth to MAI and ICI. These interferences deteriorate the Spectral Efficiency(SE) of the network. Interesting fact is CFO among the subcarriers, spectral efficiency will increase with increase in the CFO. In this paper, we have compared two distributions of CFO "truncated-Gaussian, and uniform ". There is a significant increase in the performance of MCSS with increase in the variance of CFO. Another interesting fact, spectral efficiency also increases with increase in the SINR and number of interferers. Conclusively uniform Probability Density Function (PDF) of CFO outperforms truncated Gaussian PDF of CFO in all the three cases.
