TL;DR: Simulations of the Twin Rotor MIMO System (TRMS), with the proposed algorithm, validate its effectiveness and show that the algorithm is equally effective for other nonlinear systems having uncertainties, parametric variations and external disturbances.
Abstract: A robust, with respect to matched and bounded perturbation, sliding mode controller based on adaptive gain tuning law for output tracking control of twin rotor system is proposed. In addition to the robust nature of sliding modes, the inclusion of adaptive gain tuning law enhances the control performance by avoiding excessive gains and hence a relatively smoother controller action. Simulations of the Twin Rotor MIMO System (TRMS), with the proposed algorithm, validate its effectiveness. Moreover, the algorithm is equally effective for other nonlinear systems having uncertainties, parametric variations and external disturbances.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors highlight the similar underpinnings in The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and highlight that the ideology is imposed typically by means of what Althusser calls RSA's and ISA's, which become conspicuous in furthering the exploitation and dehumanization of the proletariat class.
Abstract: Twentieth century is marked by a significant focus on commodity fetishism encircling almost all arenas of modern society. While few decades ago, literature was designated as an exercise meant only for the educated and blue stocking strata of the society, the literature accessible today is grasping youth in its web owing to its concentration on delineating challenging young heroes and heroines. Hence, YA literature in fiction is broadening its horizons by accommodating blistering issues being confronted by youth such as sexuality, race, identity crisis, depression, suicide and drug addiction. But under the garb of such depiction lies a deep-rooted ideology and false consciousness that is penetrated in adolescent minds gradually. The ideology is imposed typically by means of what Althusser calls RSA’s and ISA’s. Such hegemonic tools become conspicuous in furthering the exploitation and dehumanization of the proletariat class. The purpose of this research is to highlight the similar underpinnings in The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.

TL;DR: In this paper, the Fekete-Szego functional for the class of analytic functions associated with hyperbolic regions is investigated and the inverse functions of these discussed analytic functions are studied.
Abstract: In the field of Geometric Function Theory, one can not deny the importance of analytic and univalent functions. The characteristics of these functions including their taylor series expansion, their coefficients in these representations as well as their associated functional inequalities have always attracted the researchers. In particular, Fekete-Szego inequality is one of such vastly studied and investigated functional inequality. Our main focus in this article is to investigate the Fekete-Szego functional for the class of analytic functions associated with hyperbolic regions. Tofurther enhance the worth of our work, we include similar problems for the inverse functions of these discussed analytic functions.

TL;DR: The history and current status of developments in Mechatronics Engineering and its Education in Pakistan and the efforts of government/private sector educational and non-educational institutions in Pakistan are presented.
Abstract: This paper presents the history and current status of developments in Mechatronics Engineering and its Education. The major attention is focused on the status in Pakistan. The efforts of government/private sector educational and non-educational institutions in Pakistan, to introduce and promote Mechatronics engineering education, are highlighted. The description and statistics regarding key elements such as type of programs offered, seminars/workshops and conferences conducted, communities/groups formed, etc., are presented. The awareness and scope of Mechatronics in Pakistan is also discussed. The results of a recent published survey are presented to depict the status of Mechatronics in Pakistan. Finally the paper ended with concluding remarks on efforts made and efforts required for the awareness and development of Mechatronics in Pakistan.

TL;DR: A symmetric image-watermarking scheme is presented that achieves near optimal values of watermarked image analysis and good imperceptibility and strong robustness against various image processing attacks.
Abstract: The choice of watermark and embedding scheme can produce highly imperceptible and robust watermarking scheme for copyright protection. Therefore, a symmetric image-watermarking scheme is presented in this paper. The nonlinear watermark is generated using chaos that further improved under proposed optimization assumptions. The two least significant bits (LSBs) of host image are chosen for watermark embedding. Multiple copies of chaotic watermark is scattered into different blocks of the plain image. The proposed work is compared with recently published related work. The results show that proposed method achieves near optimal values of watermarked image analysis. Further, good imperceptibility and strong robustness against various image processing attacks.
