TL;DR: The biometric-based attendance monitoring system replaces the manual method of taking attendance and reduces the time to take attendance and avoids proxy.
Abstract: The biometric-based attendance monitoring system replaces the manual method of taking attendance and reduces the time to take attendance and avoids proxy. There are many biometric methods developed based on the fingerprint recognition, DNA matching, face recognition, Iris recognition and voice recognition. Out of all, the methods based on face recognition are proved to be the best methods. In this paper we are presenting the implementation of attendance monitoring system based on the facial recognition. In this method the image database of the classroom is created first and the database is used to train the system. Then in recognition phase the camera is fixed at the focal point in the classroom and it will capture the images, then from the captured images student's faces are recognized & compared with the database and lastly the attendance is marked based on the faces identified. The marked attendance is directly reported to the students/parents and to the faculty handling the respective course. In this method, Haar cascade classifier is used to detect the faces and captured images are compared with the database by using local binary pattern histogram algorithm. The face recognition system is implemented on the Raspberry Pi 3B hardware.

TL;DR: The design of building a smart case ready to follow its client making its way when cleared out is portrayed, based on the internet of things, which receives real-time information about the smart case and is able to upload the data to a monitoring center through the client/server architecture.
Abstract: The present research portray the design of building a smart case ready to follow its client making its way when cleared out. After a survey of the present way adherent gadgets accessible for performing distinctive assignments, we stretched out our approach that expects to build up a case that performs errands on its manmade brainpower when guided. Specifically, the approach depends on a control framework ready to execute hindrance shirking and focus on its Following conduct. Additionally, a relative area gadget in view of a flag producer (Set on the target single person) and an directional sensor. The folder case is created to be moderate for another innovation that can prompt new applications to help people further. Displayed a proposed Method to accomplish human after conduct as an initial move toward the advancement of a wise folder the smart case moving along with man. The system for monitoring, tracking, and controlling the smart case is based on the internet of things (IoT). This new system receives real-time information about the smart case and is able to upload the data to a monitoring center through the client/server architecture.

TL;DR: The proposed technique is comprised of two stages of enhancement, namely, local statistics-based image enhancement and Genetic Algorithm based local contrast enhancement which aids in searching of an optimal contrast factor, which plays vital role in the contrast enhancement.
Abstract: Nowadays, Image enhancement finds enormous image processing applications, which are related to practical situations, Contrast enhancement is one among the different image enhancement techniques that intends to improve the image visibility. Though several works for local contrast enhancement are available in the literature, the effectiveness remains an issue and the enhancement performance needs to be improved. In this paper, a local contrast enhancement technique is proposed for both gray scale images and RGB color images. The proposed technique is comprised of two stages of enhancement, namely, local statistics-based image enhancement and Genetic Algorithm based local contrast enhancement. The former stage is a pre-enhancement stage and the later is the major stage of enhancement. In the former stage, the image is processed in window basis and the local statistics of the image is obtained. Based on the local statistics, the image is enhanced. In the later stage, the window based operation is performed over the preenhanced image and the local contrast is enhanced. The Genetic Algorithm aids in searching of an optimal contrast factor, which plays vital role in the contrast enhancement. The technique is evaluated with both gray scale images as well as RGB color images and performance is compared with the existing contrast enhancement techniques.

TL;DR: In this article, the quality of motion transmission of a chain is measured by the flow value of a single-degree and multi-degree-of-freedom mechanism, and it is shown that flow value can be used as a measure of the flow quality.
Abstract: The prediction of dimensional behaviour of a chain in the sense of structural error has been reported [22-23], Once the selection of a chain is made it remains to see which of the links should be grounded and which of the links should be selected for input and output for the specified task e.g., path generation, function generation. Criteria to judge the quality of motion transmission are proposed. All the distinct inversions of a chain can be examined for the specified task so that the best combination can be chosen. The same is explained with examples of single-degree and multi degree-of-freedom mechanisms, and it is shown that the flow value of a mechanism can be used as a measure of the quality of motion transmission.
