TL;DR: In this paper, the speed of sound and density in binary liquid mixture of diethyl carbonate + benzonitrile, + benzaldehyde have been determined at temperatures 298.15, 308.15 and 318.15 K over the whole composition range.
Abstract: The speed of sound and density in binary liquid mixture of diethyl carbonate + benzonitrile, + benzaldehyde have been determined at temperatures 298.15, 308.15 and 318.15 K over the whole composition range. The data have been utilized to estimate the excess adiabatic compressibility (β E ), excess intermolecular free length (Lf E ), excess speed of sound (u E ) at the above temperatures. The excess values have been found to be useful in estimating the strength of the interactions in the liquid mixtures.

TL;DR: This paper focuses on the proposed strategy to detect and extract brain tumor from patient's MRI scan image by threshold segmentation method and the tumor clarity can be improved by duly mitigating the noise present in the processed image using Wiener filter.
Abstract: Now-a-days Bio-medical image processing is the most challenging and emerging field in medical diagnosis. Processing of MRI images is one of the crucial parts of this field. This paper focuses on the proposed strategy to detect and extract brain tumor from patient's MRI scan image. Detection and extraction of tumor from MRI scan images of the brain can be done by threshold segmentation method and the tumor clarity can be improved by duly mitigating the noise present in the processed image using Wiener filter. The tumor with improved lucidity will be extracted from input MRI image for diagnosis. For the purpose of analysis and processing real time patient data has been taken.

TL;DR: The goal of this research is to design a domain independent automatic text categorization system to alleviate, if not totally solve, the problem of almost impossible to read most of the newly published papers to be informed of the latest progress.
Abstract: The advent of Internet over the past few decades has totally revolutionised the fields of Science and Technology. Enormous increase in data on internet has raised the need of effective representation of textual information. The organizers of technical conferences and journals have to place the research papers in various session tracks, for which they need to spend a lot of time. The investigation provides a solution for this problem by automatic document categorization approach with the help of features selection method. Researchers and students constantly face a problem that, it is almost impossible to read most of the newly published papers to be informed of the latest progress. The time spent on reading literature review seems endless. The goal of this research is to design a domain independent automatic text categorization system to alleviate, if not totally solve, this problem. Text categorization is the task of assigning predefined categories to natural language text. This paper explores the effect of word and other values of word in the document, which express the features of a word in the document. The proposed features are exploited by a tf-itf, position of the word, compactness and these features are combined. Experiments show that the feature selection method has been effective for text categorization. The proposed text categorization approach is validated with Naive Bayesian, Decision Tree Induction, Nearest Neighbour and SVM approaches. The results of the experiment have shown comparatively good accuracy (above 95%), precision and recall, ensuring that the system is more effective and efficient. The experimental results revealed that text categorization had a significant improvement with the help of combination of these features.

TL;DR: In this article, an effort has been made in this investigation to evaluate the effectiveness of phosphogypsum-based stabilization/solidification technique to remediate copper-contaminated soil.
Abstract: Heavy metal contamination has become a major environmental concern worldwide. On the other hand, more than 300 million tons of annual worldwide production of phosphogypsum is leading to disposal and environmental problems. In view of this, an effort has been made in this investigation to evaluate the effectiveness of phosphogypsum-based stabilization/solidification technique to remediate copper-contaminated soil. Two concentrations of copper (630 mg/kg and 20,000 mg/kg) were selected on the basis of literature and were used to synthetically prepare the contaminated soils. A systematic testing program consisted of consistency limits, compaction, unconfined compressive strength, cation exchange capacity, X-ray diffraction, and scanning electron microscopy with EDAX was conducted on phosphogypsum-treated uncontaminated and contaminated soils. The UCS test results showed that 3% phosphogypsum was optimal for uncontaminated soil, which was used to treat the contaminated soils. An increase in strength was observed in uncontaminated soil with lower phosphogypsum content at all curing periods (3, 7, 14 and 28 days). Formation of copper sulfate-based minerals with good retention and diminutive leaching characteristics of copper in soil indicates the effectiveness of PG. Overall, phosphogypsum can be employed for effective treatment of copper-contaminated soils.
