TLDR
This novel approach allows image owners to adjust the strength of watermarks through a threshold, so that the robustness of the watermark can be enhanced and preserves the data lossless requirement, so it is suitable for medical and artistic images.

Color image triple zero-watermarking using decimal-order polar harmonic transforms and chaotic system

TL;DR: This algorithm uses geometrically invariant DoPHTs to improve its robustness to geometric attacks and uses the chaotic system to scramble logo image and feature images to enhance its security.

Copyright authentication for images with a full counter-propagation neural network

TL;DR: In this paper, a full counter-propagation neural network (FCNN) is applied to copyright authentication, where the ownership information (watermark) is embedded and detected by a specific FCNN.

Best tree wavelet packet transform based copyright protection scheme for digital images

TL;DR: Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed dual watermarking scheme has good perceptual invisibility and is also robust against various image processing operations, geometric attacks and JPEG Compression.

Robust and discriminative image representation: fractional-order Jacobi-Fourier moments

TL;DR: In this paper, a set of generic moments along with a novel representation framework are proposed to mitigate the troublesome contradiction between the robustness and discriminability, which limits the further improvement of description quality.

A novel zero-watermark copyright authentication scheme based on lifting wavelet and Harris corner detection

TL;DR: A novel zero-watermark copyright authentication scheme based on Internet public certification system and Haar integer wavelet transform based on a lifting scheme and adaptive Harris corner detection to extract image features, which will be used to produce a binary feature map.

A method for obtaining digital signatures and public-key cryptosystems

TL;DR: An encryption method is presented with the novel property that publicly revealing an encryption key does not thereby reveal the corresponding decryption key.

An Algorithm for Vector Quantizer Design

TL;DR: An efficient and intuitive algorithm is presented for the design of vector quantizers based either on a known probabilistic model or on a long training sequence of data.

Secure spread spectrum watermarking for multimedia

TL;DR: It is argued that insertion of a watermark under this regime makes the watermark robust to signal processing operations and common geometric transformations provided that the original image is available and that it can be successfully registered against the transformed watermarked image.

Information Hiding Techniques for Steganography and Digital Watermarking

TL;DR: This first comprehensive survey of steganography and watermarking and their application to modern communications and multimedia and an overview of "steganalysis," methods which can be used to break steganographic communication are discussed.
