Adiabatic pulses for wideband inversion and broadband decoupling
TLDR
In this article, an inversion pulse for wideband application is obtained from a simple nonlinear amplitude modulation wherein the amplitude is modulated in accord with A(t)=A 0 {1-| sin βt| n } and the entire pulse is frequency modulated such that the phase varies as φ(t) =φ 0 + 1/2 kt 2About:

Optimisation of excitation schemes for 14N overtone MAS NMR using numerically exact simulations.
Andreas Brinkmann,Luke A. O'Dell +1 more
TL;DR: WURST excitation pulses are the best option when studying a sample with unknown 14N NMR parameters because they provide the largest bandwidths and the direction of the frequency sweep is shown to be important when these pulses are used for the direct observation of 14NOT signals.

A semi‐LASER, single‐voxel spectroscopic sequence with a minimal echo time of 20.1 ms in the human brain at 3 T
TL;DR: An optimized semi-LASER sequence that is capable of acquiring artefact-free data with an echo time (TE) of 20.1 ms on a standard clinical 3 T MR system was developed and it was demonstrated that the CRLBs increase rapidly with TE for certain coupled metabolites.

1H–2H cross-polarization NMR in fast spinning solids by adiabatic sweeps
TL;DR: This study explores an extension of this adiabatic frequency sweep concept to quadrupolar nuclei, focusing on CP from 1H to 2H spins undergoing fast MAS, and a number of new features emerge, including zero- and double-quantum polarization transfer phenomena that depend on the frequency offsets of the swept pulses, the rf pulse powers, and the MAS spinning rate.

Methods of, and apparatus for, proton decoupling in nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy
TL;DR: In this paper, a radio-frequency pulse is tuned to the frequency of the nuclear species, such as 1 H, to be decoupled or saturated and has a bandwidth adjusted to correspond to the entire chemical shift spectrum, minimizing the amount of radiofrequency power transmitted into a volume of the irradiated sample.

Riqiang Fu,Geoffrey Bodenhausen +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method for broadband decoupling in nuclear magnetic resonance with chirp and other RF pulses, where the sample is placed in a static field, and a first cycle of chirps pulses are generated, followed by a second cycle of pulses generated by a supercycle of the first and second cycles.
