Excess Infant Mortality of Twins Over Singletons in Arab Countries: The Evidence of Relative Survival Methods.
Fatih Chellai,Naima Boudrissa +1 more
TL;DR: There is evidence that excess mortality decreases with follow-up; in addition, male twins have a higher risk of death compared to females for all countries except Tunisia and wealth index and education levels of women are factors that influence the risk of mortality.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clinical Classification of Generator and Electrode Failures
Anthony F. Rickards,John Norman +1 more
TL;DR: A clinically based failure classification system is suggested for cardiac pacing generators and electrodes, and the method of reporting actuarial survival is reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
Applying survival methodology to adverse experience occurrences in controlled clinical trials
TL;DR: On the basis of calculated cumulative hazard rates for initial occurrence of adverse experiences of patients following treatment for rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, a simple function is evolved that fits such cumulative hazard rate data very well and is obtained in terms of two physically meaningful parameters.
DissertationDOI
Customer lifetime value : an integrated data mining approach
TL;DR: In this article, an integrated data mining approach is proposed for customer lifetime value (CLV) estimation, which is based on an integrated approach of data mining and anomaly detection.
