Catalytic Hydrolysis of Dichlorodifluoromethane (CFC-12) on Sol-Gel-Derived Titania Unmodified and Modified with H2SO4

TLDR
In this article, the results showed that the catalytic and structural properties of the sulfated TiO2 catalysts were greatly improved by sulfation, and the results indicated that surface fluorination of the catalysts during the reaction improved its activity, induced the formation of the fluorinated byproduct CFC-13, and changed such properties as its specific surface area, pore size distribution, and crystal size.

Photocatalytic Degradation of RhB over TiO2 Bilayer Films: Effect of Defects and Their Location

TL;DR: It is proposed that the defect sites at the surface or the interface of TiO(2) films promote the separation of photogenerated electron-holes, leading to a higher photoactivity of defectiveTiO( 2) films, and indicates that the interface defect sites in TiO (2) could be applied in environmental photocatalysis.

Photocatalytic reforming of biomass: A systematic study of hydrogen evolution from glucose solution

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of reaction parameters, such as reaction atmosphere, noble-metal loading, amount of loaded platinum, crystalline phase of TiO2, initial concentration of glucose, and pH value of the reaction solution on the hydrogen evolution are systematically investigated.
