This document specifies the data export format for version 9 of Cisco
Systems' NetFlow services, for use by implementations on the
network elements and/or matching collector programs. The version 9
export format uses templates to provide access to observations of IP
packet flows in a flexible and extensible manner. A template defines a
collection of fields, with corresponding descriptions of structure and
semantics. This memo provides information for the Internet community.read more

INT-probe: Lightweight In-band Network-Wide Telemetry with Stationary Probes
Tian Pan,Xingchen Lin,Haoyu Song,Enge Song,Zizheng Bian,Hao Li,Zhang Jiao,Fuliang Li,Tao Huang,Chenhao Jia,Bin Liu +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose an optimal path planning algorithm, INT-probe, which achieves the network-wide telemetry coverage under the constraint of stationary probes and formulates the constrained path planning into an extended multi-depot k-Chinese postman problem (MDCPP-set) and then reduces it to a solvable minimum weight perfect matching problem.

Traffic Engineering in Hybrid Software Defined Network via Reinforcement Learning
TL;DR: This paper proposes a Reinforcement Learning (RL) based method, which learns a traffic-splitting agent to address the dynamically-changing traffic and achieve the link load balancing in the hybrid SDN.

Realtime MicroCloud-based flow aggregation for fixed and mobile networks
Luca Deri,Francesco Fusco +1 more
TL;DR: This paper describes how the microcloud architecture can be used to provide real-time traffic monitoring and correlation on large distributed environments where monitoring traffic is analyzed by several probes that collectively concur to the monitoring task.

Artificial Intelligence Managed Network Defense System against Port Scanning Outbreaks
TL;DR: An Artificial Intelligence managed network defense system to protect the computer network from recon of known and future threats, which will not only detect anomalous network traffic as in classical IDSs, but also it learns itself and update the rules in IDS which offer the deadlock towards malicious network traffic.

Statistical learning in network architecture
Karen R. Sollins,Robert Beverly +1 more
TL;DR: This thesis espouses learning to embrace the Internet's inherent complexity, address diverse problems and provide a component of the network's continued evolution, and applies statistical learning methods as well as network-specific algorithms as a step toward overcoming these challenges.
