This document specifies the data export format for version 9 of Cisco
Systems' NetFlow services, for use by implementations on the
network elements and/or matching collector programs. The version 9
export format uses templates to provide access to observations of IP
packet flows in a flexible and extensible manner. A template defines a
collection of fields, with corresponding descriptions of structure and
semantics. This memo provides information for the Internet community.read more

Universal Packet Scheduling
TL;DR: It is shown theoretically that the classical Least Slack Time First (LSTF) scheduling algorithm comes closest to being universal and demonstrate empirically that LSTF can closely, though not perfectly, replay a wide range of scheduling algorithms in realistic network settings.
On Measurement and Analysis of Internet Backbone Traffic
TL;DR: This thesis presents a successful Internet measurement project, providing guidelines for conducting passive network measurements, and presents a snapshot of current traffic composition and characteristics, contributing to a better understanding of how the Internet functions.

Taxonomical approach to the deployment of traceback mechanisms
TL;DR: A taxonomy of traceback mechanisms is proposed and their characteristics are described and issues toward the deployment of the mechanisms over the Internet are discussed.

Doopnet: An emulator for network performance analysis of Hadoop clusters using Docker and Mininet
TL;DR: Doopnet is proposed which is a framework and toolset for creating Hadoop clusters in a virtualized environment and for monitoring/analysing ofHadoop's networking characteristics under different network configurations.

IoT Behavioral Monitoring via Network Traffic Analysis.
TL;DR: This thesis is the culmination of efforts to develop techniques to profile the network behavioral pattern of IoTs, automate IoT classification, deduce their operating context, and detect anomalous behavior indicative of cyber-attacks.
