Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of the season and the reproductive status of ewes on blood parameters

TL;DR: Results obtained on the basis of biochemical blood parameters, indicate the need for animal metabolic profile monitoring, to determine the nutritive status of animals, and take preventative prophylactic measures for health disorders, to increase productivity.
Journal Article

Influence of age on biochemical parameters in calves

TL;DR: In this article, 36 clinically healthy dairy calves were included in the research and the concentrations of inorganic P (iP), Ca, K, Na, TSP, albumin (Alb), and activity of gammaglutamyltransferase (GGT) were measured.
Journal ArticleDOI

Plasma pharmacokinetics of the mycotoxin deoxynivalenol following oral and intravenous administration to sheep

TL;DR: The pharmacokinetics of deoxynivalenol were studied in sheep after administrating intravenous and oral doses, suggesting that DON was confined mainly to extracellular fluid, and did not appear to undergo any significant binding or uptake by tissue.
Journal ArticleDOI

Changes in clinical pathology parameters during gestation in the New Zealand white rabbit.

TL;DR: With a few exceptions, changes that occur in clinical pathology parameters during pregnancy in the rabbit are similar to those observed in pregnant women, therefore, the rabbit can be considered a suitable species for embryofetal development toxicity studies with regard to clinical pathology.
