Combustion synthesis approach for spectral tuning of Eu doped CaAl2O4 phosphors

TLDR
In this paper, the impact of fuel to oxidizer molar ratios (F/O = 0.5-2.0) on luminescence properties is explored, and it is shown that higher F/O inhibits Eu3+ and promotes Eu2+ formation, which improves the quality of the blue phosphor.

Charge compensation assisted enhancement of photoluminescence in combustion derived Li+ co-doped cubic ZrO2:Eu3+ nanophosphors
