Content-adaptive reliable robust lossless data embedding

TLDR
This paper proposes an effective solution to RLDE by improving the histogram rotation (HR)-based embedding model and eliminates the ''salt-and-pepper'' noise in HR by the pixel adjustment mechanism, so reliable regions for embedding can be well constructed.

Reversible Data Hiding: Advances in the Past Two Decades

TL;DR: In this paper, the various RDH algorithms and researches have been classified into the following six categories: 1) RDH into image spatial domain; 2) RD h into image compressed domain (e.g., JPEG); 3) RDh suitable for image semi-fragile authentication; 4)RDH with image contrast enhancement; 5) RD H into encrypted images, which is expected to have wide application in the cloud computation; and 6) RDD into video and into audio.

A novel lossless color image encryption scheme using 2D DWT and 6D hyperchaotic system

TL;DR: Experimental results and security analysis demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has a high security, fast speed and can resist various attacks.
Journal ArticleDOI

Image encryption

TL;DR: A new image encryption concept to transform an original image into a visually meaningful encrypted one is proposed and an example of the implementation of this concept is introduced.

Robust Reversible Watermarking via Clustering and Enhanced Pixel-Wise Masking

TL;DR: This paper presents a novel pragmatic framework, wavelet-domain statistical quantity histogram shifting and clustering (WSQH-SC), which ingeniously constructs new watermark embedding and extraction procedures by histogram shift-based and histogram clustering, which are important for improving robustness and reducing run-time complexity.

Lossless generalized-LSB data embedding

TL;DR: In this paper, a generalization of the well-known least significant bit (LSB) modification is proposed as the data-embedding method, which introduces additional operating points on the capacity-distortion curve.

Improved wavelet-based watermarking through pixel-wise masking

TL;DR: A new approach to mask the watermark according to the characteristics of the human visual system (HVS) is presented, which is accomplished pixel by pixel by taking into account the texture and the luminance content of all the image subbands.

DCT quantization matrices visually optimized for individual images

TL;DR: Here I show how to compute a matrix that is optimized for a particular image, and custom matrices for a number of images show clear improvement over image-independent matrices.

Lossless data embedding--new paradigm in digital watermarking

TL;DR: This paper introduces a new paradigm for data embedding in images (lossless dataembedding) that has the property that the distortion due to embedding can be completely removed from the watermarked image after the embedded data has been extracted.

A perceptually tuned subband image coder based on the measure of just-noticeable-distortion profile

TL;DR: A new quantitative fidelity measure, termed as peak signal-to-perceptible-noise ratio (PSPNR), is proposed to assess the quality of the compressed image by taking the perceptible part of the distortion into account.
