TLDR
The dielectric constant of undoped, polycrystalline barium titanate in the paraelectric phase was obtained from the complex impedance plane representation in the 180-400°C temperature range, between 5 Hz and 13 MHz.Abstract:
The dielectric constant of undoped, polycrystalline barium titanate in the paraelectric phase was obtained from the complex impedance plane representation in the 180–400°C temperature range, between 5 Hz and 13 MHz. A Curie-Weiss behavior is observed, with a Curie constant C o = 10.48 × 104 (K). These results are discussed and compared with results obtained with fixed frequency measurements.read more

Characterization of Electrical Materials, Especially Ferroelectrics, by Impedance Spectroscopy
TL;DR: In this article, the importance of choosing the correct equivalent circuit to represent the data is emphasized and it is shown how ferroelectric materials, with their characteristic temperature-dependent capacitance, are particularly suited to discriminating between plausible equivalent circuits.

Improved Energy Storage Properties Accompanied by Enhanced Interface Polarization in Annealed Microwave-Sintered BST
Zhe Song,Zhe Song,Shujun Zhang,Hanxing Liu,Hua Hao,Minghe Cao,Qi Li,Qing Wang,Zhonghua Yao,Zhijian Wang,Michael T. Lanagan +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, annealing was employed to fabricate dense (Ba0.4Sr0.6)TiO3 (BST) ceramics with high dielectric loss at room temperature, induced by the formation of oxygen defects during the MWS under vacuum atmosphere (−60kPa), the as-sintered samples were thermally annealed in air to reduce tanδ and recover the insulating performance.
