Primary and secondary cutaneous CD30+lymphoproliferative disorders: a report from the Dutch Cutaneous Lymphoma Group on the long-term follow-up data of 219 patients and guidelines for diagnosis and treatment

TL;DR: Clinical and long-term follow-up data indicate that CD30(+) LTCL on the skin and in 1 draining lymph node station has a good prognosis similar to that for primary cutaneous CD30 (+) L TCL without concurrent lymph node involvement.

Long-term Outcome of 525 Patients with mycosis fungoides and Sézary syndrome: Clinical prognostic factors and risk for disease progression

TL;DR: Patients with MF and SS have varying risks for disease progression or death, and the significant disease-specific survival differences between different clinical stages validate the usefulness of the present MF clinical staging system of the National Cancer Institute.

Phase 2 and 3 Clinical Trial of Oral Bexarotene (Targretin Capsules) for the Treatment of Refractory or Persistent Early-Stage Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma

TL;DR: Bexarotene (Targretin capsules) (the first retinoid X receptor-selective rexinoid) was well tolerated and effective as an oral treatment for 15 (54%) of 28 patients with refractory or persistent early-stage cutaneous T-cell lymphoma at doses of 300 mg/m(2) per day.

Controlling the false discovery rate: a practical and powerful approach to multiple testing

TL;DR: In this paper, a different approach to problems of multiple significance testing is presented, which calls for controlling the expected proportion of falsely rejected hypotheses -the false discovery rate, which is equivalent to the FWER when all hypotheses are true but is smaller otherwise.
Book ChapterDOI

Nonparametric Estimation from Incomplete Observations

TL;DR: In this article, the product-limit (PL) estimator was proposed to estimate the proportion of items in the population whose lifetimes would exceed t (in the absence of such losses), without making any assumption about the form of the function P(t).
Journal ArticleDOI

Significance analysis of microarrays applied to the ionizing radiation response

TL;DR: A method that assigns a score to each gene on the basis of change in gene expression relative to the standard deviation of repeated measurements is described, suggesting that this repair pathway for UV-damaged DNA might play a previously unrecognized role in repairing DNA damaged by ionizing radiation.
