WHO-EORTC classification for cutaneous lymphomas.
Rein Willemze,Elaine S. Jaffe,Günter Burg,Lorenzo Cerroni,Emilio Berti,Steven H. Swerdlow,Elisabeth Ralfkiaer,Sergio Chimenti,José Luis Diaz-Perez,Lyn M. Duncan,Florent Grange,Nancy L. Harris,Werner Kempf,Helmut Kerl,Michael O. Kurrer,Robert Knobler,Nicola Pimpinelli,Chris Sander,Marco Santucci,Wolfram Sterry,Maarten H. Vermeer,Janine Wechsler,Sean Whittaker,Chris J.L.M. Meijer +23 more
TL;DR: The characteristic features of the different primary cutaneous lymphomas and other hematologic neoplasms frequently presenting in the skin are described, and differences with the previous classification schemes are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Primary and secondary cutaneous CD30+lymphoproliferative disorders: a report from the Dutch Cutaneous Lymphoma Group on the long-term follow-up data of 219 patients and guidelines for diagnosis and treatment
Marcel W. Bekkenk,Françoise A. M. J. Geelen,Pieter C. van Voorst Vader,F. Heule,M.L. Geerts,Willem A. van Vloten,Chris J.L.M. Meijer,Rein Willemze +7 more
TL;DR: Clinical and long-term follow-up data indicate that CD30(+) LTCL on the skin and in 1 draining lymph node station has a good prognosis similar to that for primary cutaneous CD30 (+) L TCL without concurrent lymph node involvement.
Journal ArticleDOI
Survival Outcomes and Prognostic Factors in Mycosis Fungoides/Sézary Syndrome: Validation of the Revised International Society for Cutaneous Lymphomas/European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer Staging Proposal
Nita Agar,Emma Wedgeworth,Siobhan Crichton,Tracey J. Mitchell,Michael E. Cox,Silvia Ferreira,Alistair Robson,Eduardo Calonje,Catherine M. Stefanato,Elizabeth Mary Wain,Bridget S. Wilkins,Paul Fields,Alan Dean,Katherine Webb,Julia Scarisbrick,Stephen Morris,Sean Whittaker +16 more
TL;DR: This study validated the recently proposed ISCL/EORTC staging system and identified new prognostic factors in mycosis fungoides and Sézary syndrome patients.
Long-term Outcome of 525 Patients with mycosis fungoides and Sézary syndrome: Clinical prognostic factors and risk for disease progression
TL;DR: Patients with MF and SS have varying risks for disease progression or death, and the significant disease-specific survival differences between different clinical stages validate the usefulness of the present MF clinical staging system of the National Cancer Institute.

Phase 2 and 3 Clinical Trial of Oral Bexarotene (Targretin Capsules) for the Treatment of Refractory or Persistent Early-Stage Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma
Madeleine Duvic,Ann G. Martin,Youn H. Kim,Elise A. Olsen,Gary S. Wood,Constance A. Crowley,Richard C. Yocum +6 more
TL;DR: Bexarotene (Targretin capsules) (the first retinoid X receptor-selective rexinoid) was well tolerated and effective as an oral treatment for 15 (54%) of 28 patients with refractory or persistent early-stage cutaneous T-cell lymphoma at doses of 300 mg/m(2) per day.

Controlling the false discovery rate: a practical and powerful approach to multiple testing
Yoav Benjamini,Yosef Hochberg +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a different approach to problems of multiple significance testing is presented, which calls for controlling the expected proportion of falsely rejected hypotheses -the false discovery rate, which is equivalent to the FWER when all hypotheses are true but is smaller otherwise.
Book ChapterDOI
Nonparametric Estimation from Incomplete Observations
Edward L. Kaplan,Paul Meier +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the product-limit (PL) estimator was proposed to estimate the proportion of items in the population whose lifetimes would exceed t (in the absence of such losses), without making any assumption about the form of the function P(t).
Journal ArticleDOI
Significance analysis of microarrays applied to the ionizing radiation response
TL;DR: A method that assigns a score to each gene on the basis of change in gene expression relative to the standard deviation of repeated measurements is described, suggesting that this repair pathway for UV-damaged DNA might play a previously unrecognized role in repairing DNA damaged by ionizing radiation.
