Dissimilar metal friction welding of austenitic–ferritic stainless steels

In this article, continuous drive friction welding studies on austenitic and ferritic stainless steel combination have been attempted in this investigation and the mechanical properties of dissimilar metal welds are comparable to those of ferritic steel welds.
