Electrical properties of ZnxCd1-xSe

TLDR
In this article, the variation in bandgap energy with composition was determined for single crystals of ZnxCd1-xSe at 300 and 90 K Au-Znxcd1xSe (x <045) diodes, and the dependence of barrier height and uncompensated donor density on composition was investigated.

Studies on optical absorption and photoluminescence of thioglycerol-stabilized CdS quantum dots.

TL;DR: UV and PL spectral features of the CdS/Au hybrid nanoparticles obtained by a physical mixing of Cd S and Au nanoclusters in various volume ratios is discussed and an additional low energy band approximately 650 nm is observed in the UV visible spectrum of the hybrid nanoparticle.

Vapor‐Phase Growth of Single Crystals of II–VI Compounds

TL;DR: In this article, a method of growing doped single crystals of II-VI compounds a few cm3 in size is described, where the crystal is grown from the vapor phase in a closed moving crucible which permits an efficient utilization of the charge and flexibility in the dimensions of the crystal.

Emission Spectra of Impurity Activated (Zn,Cd) (S,Se,Te) Phosphors III . Self‐Activated Phosphors

TL;DR: In this paper, the Schon-Klasens model of luminescence was applied to self-activated phosphors and its dependences were demonstrated in recombination term schemes assuming predominantly ionic crystal bonding.
