Percolation-based model for straining-dominant deep bed filtration

TL;DR: In this paper, a straining-dominant filtration model based on directed bond percolation is proposed, and a direct electrifying algorithm is modified for infinite cluster backbone identification and the geometrical characteristic of the infinite cluster is analyzed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Temperature effect on extraction and purification of used motor oil by supercritical carbon dioxide

TL;DR: In this article, supercritical carbon dioxide (SC-CO 2 ) was used for the extraction of used motor oil (UMO) from two types of contaminated sand (sieved and not sieved) at 70 −80 −C and 35 −65 −MPa.
Journal ArticleDOI

Permeability Reduction by Sediment Retention in Saturated Sand Columns

TL;DR: In this paper, an approximate experimental equation is proposed to predict the retention mass of sediment, and a new model was proposed to determine the permeability reduction by sediment retention, which could predict the sediment retention mass with a relative error of less than 5 %.
