A new cancellous bone material of silk fibroin/cellulose dual network composite aerogel reinforced by nano-hydroxyapatite filler
Zong-Ju Chen,Hui-Hong Shi,Liang Zheng,Hua Zhang,Yu-Ying Cha,Hui-Xian Ruan,Yi Zhang,Xiu-Cheng Zhang +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an alkali urea system was used to dissolve, regenerate and gelate cellulose and silk fibroin (SF) to prepare composite aerosol, and a dual network structure was shaped in the composite aerogel materials interlaced by sheet-like SF and reticular cellulose wrapping n-HA on the surface.

The carbonate environment in bone mineral: a resolution-enhanced Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy Study.
TL;DR: The environment of carbonate ions in bones of different species was investigated by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy associated with a self-deconvolution technique and a band not previously observed was shown to correspond to a labile carbonate environment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Carbonated hydroxyapatite as bone substitute
TL;DR: In this paper, B-carbonateapatite (CHA) powder was synthesized starting from calcium nitrate tetrahydrate, diammonium hydrogen phosphate and sodium hydrogen carbonate.
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel infrared spectroscopic method for the determination of crystallinity of hydroxyapatite minerals.
TL;DR: IR indices of crystallinity have been developed for both well crystallized and poorly crystallized HA derivatives, and a preliminary application of the method to a microscopic biological sample (rat epiphyseal growth plate) is illustrated.
