Estrogen and progesterone receptors in endometriosis
TL;DR: In this article , the presence of estrogen and progesterone hormone receptors in endometriosis implants and whether hormone treatment influences the receptors in these implants was identified. But, the results showed that the progestone hormone receptor expression was considerably superior to estrogen receptor expression (P < 0.001).

Hormonal, apoptotic, proliferative and inflammatory markers’ expression in Desogestrel-treated women with ovarian endometriosis
Daniela Roxana Matasariu,Ludmila Lozneanu,Irina Dumitrascu,Mihaela Grigore,A. Cristofor,Cristina Elena Mandici,I. Bujor,Alexandra Ursache,Anca Daniela Brăila,Alexandra Bauşic,Romeo Micu +10 more
TL;DR: The study revealed that Desogestrel treatment increases OPN serum levels, PR and Bcl-2 tissue expression and reduces VEGF serum levels and Ki-67 tissue expression, and that the serum levels of OPN seem to be more influenced by progestin treatment, than by endometriosis itself.
