TLDR
In this article, high-order harmonic generation for molecules in linearly polarized laser pulses by numerical solution of the Schr\"odinger equation was studied and maxima and minima due to intramolecular interference were found in the dependence of the harmonic intensities on the internuclear distance and on the orientation of the molecules.
Abstract
We study high-order harmonic generation for ${\mathrm{H}}_{2}^{+}$ and ${\mathrm{H}}_{2}$ model molecules in linearly polarized laser pulses by numerical solution of the Schr\"odinger equation. Maxima and minima due to intramolecular interference are found in the dependence of the harmonic intensities on the internuclear distance and on the orientation of the molecules. These extrema can be approximately predicted by regarding them as the result of interference between two radiating point sources located at the positions of the nuclei.

Dynamical distortions of structural signatures in molecular high-order harmonic spectroscopy

TL;DR: In this article, the signature of two-center interferences in molecular high-order harmonic spectra, with an emphasis on the spectral phase, was studied with the help of both ab initio computations based on the time-dependent Schrodinger equation and the molecular strong field approximation (SFA) as developed by Chiril et al.

Classical effect for enhanced high harmonic yield in ultrashort laser pulses with a moderate laser intensity

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of pulse duration on high harmonic generation (HHG) by exploring a wide laser-parameter region theoretically was investigated, and it was shown that the HHG inversion efficiency is higher for shorter pulses since the ground-state depletion is weaker in short pulses.

Role of ionization in orientation dependence of molecular high-order harmonic generation.

TL;DR: These simulations reveal the important modulation of the ionization to the HHG orientation dependence, especially at larger orientation angles, and show that this modulation can be read from the harmonic order where theHHG spectra at different orientation angles intersect.

Molecular attochemistry: Correlated electron dynamics driven by light

TL;DR: In this paper, theoretical aspects of ultrafast electron dynamics in molecules, mostly driven by lasers, are described with the help of wavefunction-based ab initio methods such as timedependent configuration interaction (TD-CI) or the multiconfigurational time-dependent Hartree-Fock (MCTDHF) methods.

High-order harmonic generation in laser-irradiated homonuclear diatomics: The velocity gauge version of the molecular strong-field approximation

TL;DR: In this article, the strong-field process of high-order harmonic generation in laser-irradiated light homonuclear diatomics (H 2 + 2 + 3, N2, and O2) is compared to atomic counterparts (of nearly identical ionization potential) within the velocity gauge version of conventional strong field approximation.
