TLDR
In this article, high-order harmonic generation for molecules in linearly polarized laser pulses by numerical solution of the Schr\"odinger equation was studied and maxima and minima due to intramolecular interference were found in the dependence of the harmonic intensities on the internuclear distance and on the orientation of the molecules.
Abstract
We study high-order harmonic generation for ${\mathrm{H}}_{2}^{+}$ and ${\mathrm{H}}_{2}$ model molecules in linearly polarized laser pulses by numerical solution of the Schr\"odinger equation. Maxima and minima due to intramolecular interference are found in the dependence of the harmonic intensities on the internuclear distance and on the orientation of the molecules. These extrema can be approximately predicted by regarding them as the result of interference between two radiating point sources located at the positions of the nuclei.

Two-Center Interference of Heteronuclear Diatomic Molecules in High-Order Harmonic Generation

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the two-center destructive interference for heteronuclear diatomic molecules (HeDM) in the high-order harmonic generation, which results in the minimum in highorder harmonic spectrum.

High-Harmonic Generation from Excited Molecules: X-Ray Spectra Control and Dynamical Imaging

TL;DR: The sensitivity of high-harmonic yield on molecule configuration in excited states, based on interference phenomena for both de Broglie waves and electromagnetic waves, provides opportunities for coherent X-Ray emission control and dynamical imaging of molecules.

XUV pulse effect on signal modulations of harmonic spectra from H 2 + and T 2 +

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of signal modulations on the molecular high-order harmonic generations in molecular high order harmonic generations have been theoretically investigated, and it is found that with the introduction of the XUV pulse, due to the absorption of the extra XUV photons in the recombination process, multi-plateaus on the harmonic spectra, separated by XUV photon energy can be found.

Doping effects in high-harmonic generation from correlated systems

- 20 Dec 2022 -
TL;DR: In this paper , a quasiparticle-based doublon-holon model was used to study high-harmonic generation from doped, correlated materials, and it was shown that in the high-U$ limit, antiferromagnetic ordering becomes increasingly unlikely with increasing doping rates and explain an associated drop in high-order harmonics relative to the case of half filling.
