Multibody systems with unilateral constraints

TL;DR: A brief survey of theoretical and practical applications of the complementarity principle in multibody systems with many multiple unilateral contacts is presented in this article, where the authors considered in a straightforward manner such systems involve a combinatorial problem of many dimensions, which can only be solved reasonably by the introduction of complementarity idea.
Book ChapterDOI

Linear complementarity and p-matrices for stochastic games

TL;DR: The first nontrivial polynomially recognizable subclass of P-matrix is defined and the new strongly subexponential combinatorial algorithms for these games are suggested.
Journal ArticleDOI

New variants of the criss-cross method for linearly constrained convex quadratic programming

TL;DR: The proof of finiteness simplifies to the proof of Illes and Meszaros' [Yugoslav J. Oper. Res. 11 (2001) 17] and provides a newFiniteness proof for S. Zhang's criss-cross type algorithms.
Journal ArticleDOI

Projection onto simplicial cones by Picard's method

TL;DR: Moreau's decomposition theorem for projecting onto simplicial cones was used in this paper to find the unique solution of a nonsmooth system of equations associated with the problem of projecting a point onto a simplicial cone.
Journal ArticleDOI

Existence theory and Q-matrix characterization for the generalized linear complementarity problem: Revisited

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provided conditions under which a vertical block matrix is a Q-matrix if one or all representative sub-matrices are Q -matrices and vice versa.
