IoT-Enabled Smart Cities: A Review of Concepts, Frameworks and Key Technologies

TL;DR: This work provides a survey on the key technologies proposed in the literature for the implementation of IoT frameworks, and then a review of the main smart city approaches and frameworks, based on classification into eight domains, which extends the traditional six domain classification that is typically adopted in most of the related works.

A Framework for Outlier Mining in RFID Data.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors define a technique for efficiently detecting anomalous data in order to prevent problems related to inefficient shipment or fraudulent actions, since items usually move together in large groups through distribution centers and only in stores do they move in smaller groups.

Aggregate processes as distributed adaptive services for the Industrial Internet of Things

TL;DR: In this paper , Aggregate Programming (AP) is adopted as a way to simplify building distributed, intelligent services at the far edge of an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) architecture, where the main ingredients of IIoT are the connected, communicating devices directly located in the workshop floor (far edge devices), as well as edge gateways that connect such devices to the Internet and, in particular, to cloud servers.

Mining frequent patterns without candidate generation

TL;DR: This study proposes a novel frequent pattern tree (FP-tree) structure, which is an extended prefix-tree structure for storing compressed, crucial information about frequent patterns, and develops an efficient FP-tree-based mining method, FP-growth, for mining the complete set of frequent patterns by pattern fragment growth.
