Bridge monitoring using BDS-RTK and GPS-RTK techniques

TL;DR: This study will primarily focus on the promising performance of BDS system in the area of bridge monitoring, and found that the precision of BDS at static mode can achieve to 2–3 mm and 5–7‽mm in horizontal and vertical component, and millimeter level displacements can also be detected by BDS measurements.

A new multipath mitigation method based on adaptive thresholding wavelet denoising and double reference shift strategy

TL;DR: The results of the two experiments indicate that the proposed ATDR method performs much better than the CTSR method in mitigating multipath for different sampling rates and different processing modes in the measurement domain for GNSS static short-baseline postprocessing applications.

Time-series analysis of GPS measurements for long-span bridge movements using wavelet and model prediction techniques

TL;DR: Assessment of the safety behavior of the Incheon long-span bridge using high rate (10 Hz) geodetic monitoring global positioning system (GPS) finds both methods are found to be suitable techniques to estimate the performance changes of the GPS measurements in the time and frequency domains during the monitoring time period.

Bridge monitoring using multi-GNSS observations with high cutoff elevations: A case study

TL;DR: A multi-GNSS integration processing method is proposed and a case study on bridge monitoring using multi- GNSS observations with high cutoff elevations is presented, showing that, with more satellites available and the strongest satellite geometry, the combined GPS/BDS/GLONASS shows the highest precision.

GNSS Multipath Error Modeling and Mitigation by Using Sparsity-Promoting Regularization

TL;DR: A new sidereal filtering approach based on sparsity-promoting regularization is proposed to mitigate multipath errors for static short baseline GNSS applications and, by applying the proposed multipath modeling method, the average improvement ratio of the root-mean-square values of double-difference residuals can reach approximately 66.7%.

Modified sidereal filtering: Implications for high‐rate GPS positioning

TL;DR: In this article, the GPS orbital repeat period was investigated and it was determined that it varies for each satellite and differs significantly from the generally assumed sidereal period, and the calculated orbit repeat period significantly reduced low frequency (0.001-0.04 Hz) errors in 1-Hz GPS position estimates.

GNSS Multipath Mitigation Using Gated and High Resolution Correlator Concepts

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors considered Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver signal processing-based methods for mitigating multipath using novel correlator waveform concepts, which can be obtained using multiple correlator outputs from conventional receiver hardware.
