Plasma-driven catalysis: green ammonia synthesis with intermittent electricity
Kevin Hendrik Reindert Rouwenhorst,Yannick Engelmann,Kevin van ’t Veer,Kevin van ’t Veer,Rolf Sybren Postma,Annemie Bogaerts,Leon Lefferts +6 more
TL;DR: A review of the literature on plasma-driven ammonia synthesis is presented in this article, where the authors distinguish between mechanisms for ammonia synthesis in the presence of a plasma, with and without a catalyst, for different plasma conditions.

N2 Fixation by Plasma-Activated Processes
TL;DR: In this article, the authors compared the energy requirements, CO2 emissions, and commodity prices associated with alternative plasma-activated ammonia synthesis to those for conventional Haber-Bosch process.

From the Birkeland-Eyde process towards energy-efficient plasma-based NOX synthesis: A techno-economic analysis
TL;DR: This analysis shows that the energy consumption for NOX synthesis with plasma technology is almost competitive with the commercial process with its current best value, which is required to decrease further to about 0.7 MJ mol N−1 in order to become fully competitive.

Calculation of Equilibrium Constants for Isotopic Exchange Reactions
TL;DR: In this article, it was pointed out that the possibility of chemical separation of isotopes is a quantum effect and that the difference in the free energies of two isotopic molecules can be directly calculated.

Mechanism of Nitrogen Fixation by Nitrogenase: The Next Stage
TL;DR: This paper presents a meta-analyses of the chiral stationary phase replacement of Na6(CO3)(SO4)2, Na2SO4, and Na2CO3 of the H2O/O2 mixture and shows clear patterns in the response of these two types of molecules to each other in a stationary phase.
