TLDR
In this paper, it is shown that scattering energy of particles in the centre of mass system can obtain very large values not only for extremal black holes but also for nonextremal ones existing in Nature.About:

Particle acceleration on the background of the Kerr–Taub–NUT spacetime
TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the center-of-mass (CM) energy of the collision of two particles with different rest masses moving in the equatorial plane of a Kerr-Taub-NUT spacetime.
Journal ArticleDOI
Particle Collisions on Stringy Black Hole Background
TL;DR: In this paper, the collision of two particles in the background of a Sen black hole is studied and the center-of-mass energy is investigated when the collision takes place at the horizon.
Journal ArticleDOI
Particle acceleration in Horava–Lifshitz black holes
Jafar Sadeghi,Behnam Pourhassan +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the center-of-mass energy of two colliding test particles near the rotating and non-rotating Horava-Lifshitz black hole was calculated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Acceleration of particles and shells by Reissner-Nordström naked singularities
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the Reissner-nordstrom naked singularities with a charge $Q$ larger than its mass $M$ from the perspective of the particle acceleration and showed that the center of mass energy of collision taking place at $r \approx M$ is unbound, in the limit where the charge transcends the mass by arbitrarily small amount.
Journal ArticleDOI
Are black holes totally black
A. A. Grib,Yu. V. Pavlov +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a classification of all such geodesics with energies E/m ≤ 1 for the Schwarzschild and Kerr black holes is given, and the possibility of observation of high energy particles arriving from a black hole on the Earth is discussed.

The Mathematical Theory of Black Holes
TL;DR: In a course of lectures on the underlying mathematical structures of classical gravitation theory given in 1978, Brandon Carter as discussed by the authors began with the statement ‘If I had been asked five years ago to prepare a course for recent developments in classical gravity theory, I would not have hesitated on the classical theory of black holes as a central topic of discussion. But I am grateful to them for their courtesy in assigning to me this privilege.

End to the cosmic ray spectrum
TL;DR: The primary cosmic-ray spectrum has been measured up to an energy of $10^{20}$ eV, and several groups have described projects under development or in mind to investigate the spectrum further, into the energy range of 10^{21}-10^{22} eV as mentioned in this paper.
