Artificial structures steer morphological development of salt marshes: a model study
Rutger Wilfried Antonius Siemes,Bastiaan Wijnand Borsje,R.J. Daggenvoorde,Suzanne J.M.H. Hulscher +3 more
TL;DR: In this article, a morphological model (Delft3D Flexible Mesh) was applied, which enabled the analysis of various artificial structures with realistic representation to steer the morphological development of salt marshes.

Dynamique des flux sédimentaires et des éléments métalliques en lien avec l’exploitation courante et exceptionnelle d’un barrage hydroélectrique
TL;DR: In this paper, an etude of terrain of 19 mois a l amont and a laval de l’ouvrage a ete effectuee en conditions courantes and evenementielles d'exploitation.

Sediment flux based model of instantaneous sediment transport due to pure velocity-skewed oscillatory sheet flow with boundary layer stream
TL;DR: In this article, an approximate model for instantaneous sediment transport resulting from exponential profiles of sediment concentration and velocity over a mobile bed is studied by modeling the phase lag effect and asymmetry in wave friction factor, oscillatory flow orbital amplitude, roughness height, bed shear stress and wave boundary layer thickness.

Experimental Study of Erosion Threshold of Reconstituted Sediments
TL;DR: In this article, a dimensionless threshold shear stress t is proposed to quantify the shear strength of these reconstituted mixtures, coupled with variation of coarse particle size, to illustrate the trend of erosion threshold of the four mixtures as a function of mud weight content.

Modeling the sediment dynamics in the gulf of Urabá, colombian Caribbean sea
TL;DR: In this article, a 3D sediment transport model was proposed to describe seasonal sediment concentration patterns in the Atrato River turbid plume and the littoral drift in the gulf of Uraba.
