Pseudogap and Fermi arc in kappa-type organic superconductors

TLDR

Abstract
The quasiparticle spectra of the Hubbard model on the anisotropic triangle lattice at half filling is studied using the cluster perturbation theory and applied to the organic superconductor kappa-(BEDT-TTF)(2)X. We find that a d(x2-y2)-wave-like pseudogap phase emerges in the intermediate-coupling regime. Near the critical line of the Mott insulating transition, the Fermi surface becomes segmented with a Fermi arc, due to the partial opening of the Mott gap along the Fermi surface. The pseudogap with the Fermi arc is shown to be a precursor to the Mott insulator.

TL;DR: In this paper, the pseudogap phase occurring in cuprate and organic superconductors is analyzed based on the dynamical cluster approximation (DCA) approach to the Hubbard model.

Electron-hole doping asymmetry of Fermi surface reconstructed in a simple Mott insulator.

TL;DR: This work investigates the doping asymmetry of an organic Mott insulator by carrying out electric-double-layer transistor measurements and using cluster perturbation theory, and predicts strongly anisotropic suppression of the spectral weight and a relatively uniform spectral weight results in the emergence of a non-interacting-like Fermi surface (FS) in the electron-doped state.

Deconfinement of spinons in frustrated spin systems: Spectral perspective

TL;DR: In this paper, the confinement and deconfinement of spinons in the square-lattice antiferromagnetic Heisenberg model are elaborated by exploring the evolution of the whole excitation spectra.

Realization of a Metallic State in 1T-TaS_{2} with Persisting Long-Range Order of a Charge Density Wave.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the metallization of 1T-TaS_{2} can be also realized without breaking the long-range CDW order upon surface alkali doping, and it is suggested that the appearance of the in-gap excitations near the lower Hubbard band is mainly due to the effectively reduced on-site Coulomb energy by the adsorbed alkali ions.

Structural Investigations of CeIrIn5 and CeCoIn5 on Macroscopic and Atomic Length Scales

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors combine physical and chemical investigations on the prototypical heavy fermion superconductors CeIrIn5 and CeCoIn5 on atomic and macroscopic length scale to gain insight into their precise structural properties.
