Recent advances in hexagonal ferrites by the use of nuclear spectroscopic methods

TLDR
In this article, a comparative discussion of the data obtained on M, Y, W and Z-type hexagonal ferrites is given, based on the Mossbauer, NMR and neutron spectroscopies, which allows to give more insight into correlations between the cation distribution, the sublattice magnetization and spin configuration.
Abstract
The application of the Mossbauer, NMR and neutron spectroscopies to the study of the hexagonal ferrites allows to give more insight into the correlations between the cation distribution, the sublattice magnetization and spin configuration. In the present paper a comparative discussion of the data obtained on M, Y, W and Z-type hexagonal ferrites is given.

Cation distribution and intrinsic magnetic properties of Co‐Ti‐doped M‐type barium ferrite

TL;DR: The structural and magnetic properties of BaFe12−2xCoxTixO19 (0≤x≤1.0) M•type barium ferrite have been investigated by means of neutron powder diffraction and high-field magnetization measurements.

Structural, magnetic, and Mössbauer spectroscopy of Cu substituted M-type hexaferrites

TL;DR: In this article, the structural parameters and ionic distribution over the crystallographic sites of hexaferrites were determined by refining the X-ray diffraction patterns and the magnetic phase transition temperature was found to decrease with the level of Cu substitution and the reduction of the superexchange interactions.

Ferrites as solar photocatalytic materials and their activities in solar energy conversion and environmental protection: A review

TL;DR: Ferrites have been widely known as excellent photocatalysts thanks to their excellent properties such as relatively narrow bandgaps, chemical, and thermal stability, excellent magnetic property, and low-cost.
