TLDR
In this article, it was shown that by decreasing the size of both Fe2O3 and Fe2MoO4)3 particles in complex Fe-Mo oxide to nanometric order, the catalytic activity of the mixed oxide in toluene oxidation is remarkably improved.
Abstract
It has been found that by decreasing the size of both Fe2O3 and Fe2(MoO4)3 particles in complex Fe–Mo oxide to nanometric order, the catalytic activity of the mixed oxide in toluene oxidation is remarkably improved.

Activity and characterization of modified Cr2O3/ZrO2 nano-composite catalysts for oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane to ethylene with CO2

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of modifiers on the catalytic activity in the dehydrogenation of ethane with CO2 was investigated, and the modified Cr2O3/ZrO2 nanocomposite catalysts were characterized by BET, TEM, XRD, XPS, CO2-TPD and NH3-tPD techniques.

Partial Oxidation of Methane

TL;DR: Partial oxidation is a widely used process to convert hydrocarbons and alcohols to valuable oxygen-containing chemicals as discussed by the authors, however, the direct utilization of these reactions for the manufacture of formaldehyde and methanol has remained extremely difficult.

Preparing catalytic materials by the sol-gel method

TL;DR: In this paper, the basic relevant issues in the sol-gel preparation of catalytic materials by looking at both single-component and multicomponent systems as well as different products such as aerogels and catalytic membranes are discussed.

Aerogels in catalysis

TL;DR: In this paper, a solution-sol-gel (SSG) method was used for aerogel preparation and their subsequent liberation from the solvent via critical-point drying or supercritical (or hypercritical) drying (SCD).

Gel technology in ceramics

TL;DR: The use of sol-gel techniques to prepare ceramic materials ranks high among those areas in ceramic science and technology which are changing most rapidly and which offer the greatest promise for outstanding improvements in both understanding and applications as mentioned in this paper.

The Mechanism for the Partial Oxidation of Propylene over Bismuth Molybdate Catalysts

TL;DR: In this article, the authors consider a trois phases α-Bi 2 (MoO 4 ) 3, β -Bi 2 Mo 2 O 9 and γ-bi 2 MoO 6 which possedent une grande activite catalytique for l'oxydation partielle du propene.
