TLDR
Treatments AgNP, Si, PGPR and IAA were observed to significantly reduce the stress and enhance plant growth against treatment AgNPs alone, suggesting the idea to formulate and utilize their combination as biofertilizers for eradicating the stress in near future.

Metal/Metalloid-Based Nanomaterials for Plant Abiotic Stress Tolerance: An Overview of the Mechanisms

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors highlight the beneficial role of nanomaterials in plants, their mode of action, and their mechanism in overcoming various abiotic stresses, and emphasize upon antioxidant activities of different nanommaterials and their dose-dependent variability in plants' growth under stress.

The intricacy of silicon, plant growth regulators and other signaling molecules for abiotic stress tolerance: An entrancing crosstalk between stress alleviators

TL;DR: In this paper, an upfront effort is made to delineate an intricate crosstalk/interaction between Si and PGRs to reduce abiotic stress adversities and the combined effects of interaction of Si with other signaling molecules such as reactive oxygen species (ROS), nitric oxide (NO) and calcium (Ca2+) for the survival of plants under stress and optimal conditions are also discussed.

Hydrogen Peroxide is Scavenged by Ascorbate-specific Peroxidase in Spinach Chloroplasts

TL;DR: Observations confirm that the electron donor for the scavenging of hydrogen peroxide in chloroplasts is L-ascorbate and that the L-ASCorbate is regenerated from DHA by the system: photosystem I-*ferredoxin-*NADP^>glutathione and a preliminary characterization of the chloroplast peroxidase is given.
