Networked Control Systems With Communication Constraints: Tradeoffs Between Transmission Intervals, Delays and Performance

TL;DR: A newly developed NCS model including all these network phenomena is provided, including communication constraints, to provide an explicit construction of a continuum of Lyapunov functions that guarantee stability of the NCS in the presence of communication constraints.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis of event-driven controllers for linear systems

TL;DR: This paper considers an event-driven control scheme for perturbed linear systems that triggers the control update only when the tracking or stabilization error is large, so that the average processor and/or communication load can be reduced significantly.

Brief paper: New delay-dependent stability criteria for systems with interval delay

TL;DR: A new delay-dependent stability criterion for systems with a delay varying in an interval with a different Lyapunov functional defined and a tight upper bound of its derivative is given.

Stability Analysis of Networked Control Systems Using a Switched Linear Systems Approach

TL;DR: This paper proposes a new procedure to obtain a convex overapproximation in the form of a polytopic system with norm-bounded additive uncertainty and derives stability results in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs).
Journal ArticleDOI

Stability of Networked Control Systems With Uncertain Time-Varying Delays

TL;DR: A new approach for the stability analysis and controller synthesis of networked control systems (NCSs) with uncertain, time-varying, network delays is presented, based on the Jordan form of the continuous-time plant.

Criteria for robust stability and stabilization of uncertain linear systems with state delay

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors deal with the problem of robust stability analysis and robust stabilization for a class of uncertain linear systems with a time-varying state delay, where the uncertainty is assumed to be norm-bounded and appears in all the matrices of the state space model.
