TLDR
In this article, the authors investigated the kinetic effect of specific adsorption interactions on the chemical reduction of uranyl (UVIO22+) by ferrous iron, and derived a rate law for surface-catalyzed U(VI) reduction by Fe(II), d[U(VI)] dt =−k[≡ Fe III OFe II OH 0 ][U( VI)] ads where the bimolecular rate constant k has a value of 399 ± 25 M−1 min−1 at 25°C.About:

Strong positive fractionation of chromium isotopes in iron formation of the Jacadigo Group (Brazil) – A link to enhanced atmospheric oxygenation during the Late Neoproterozoic
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors show that a stable supply of oxidized Cr potentially from continental sources at the time of deposition, implying high atmospheric O2 levels in the Late Neoproterozoic, and insignificant alteration of the authigenic Cr isotope signals by tropical weathering despite surface iron up-concentration and leaching of carbonates, and lack of isotope effects that would be associated with nonquantitative reduction processes and accompanying particulate transport to the chemical sediments in the Jacadigo Basin.
Oxidative dissolution of UO2 by α-radiolysis
TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the effect of reducing agents on the dissolution of UO2-based materials under α-radiation fields and showed that reducing agents can significantly reduce the amount of oxidants formed by fuel-water interfaces.

How are oxygen budgets influenced by dissolved iron and growth of oxygenic phototrophs in an iron-rich spring system? Initial results from the Espan Spring in Fürth, Germany
Inga Köhler,Raul E. Martinez,David Piatka,Achim J. Herrmann,Arianna Gallo,Michelle M. Gehringer,Johannes A. C. Barth +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of elevated Fe(II) concentrations on the δ18 O DO in a natural, iron-rich, circum-neutral watercourse were investigated and it was shown that iron oxidation was the major factor for rising dissolved oxygen isotope compositions in the first 85m of the system in the cold season and for the first 15m during the warm season.

The influence of reductive dissolution of iron oxides by s(-ii) on uranium mobility
TL;DR: In this paper, the fate of U as reductive dissolution of iron oxyhydroxides by S(-II) is initiated was investigated, where sulfide was incrementally added to a lepidocrocite suspension containing adsorbed U(VI).
